“This hole-in-the-wall restraunt is definitely worth a visit. Do not expect quick service here, as these ladies are on mountain time and all the food is made to order. You can see them making your food in the open-kitchen and if you have the time to wait, everything we ordered tasted so delicious and fresh! We will definitely come back here next time we are in Gunnison.“

“We have been disappointed in some of the downtown restaurants but we spotted this one and thought we’d give it a try. It was absolutely delicious! In fact, it was so good that my husband got a brisket sandwich to go! Very friendly and excellent waitress on 11-28-25!“

“Whenever I’m in Gunnison, I enjoy eating at Garlic Mike’s. I was excited to have my 75th birthday dinner there on January 5, 2025. The cream of mushroom soup and flatiron steak were very good, however the Alfredo sauce was thin and tasteless. We weren’t offered freshly grated Parmesan cheese which is standard for an Italian restaurant! I was disappointed there was no free offer of a birthday dessert or just a scoop of ice cream. They were aware it was my birthday! Also the two young men in the kitchen had a rather loud conversation about a sexual predator that could be heard in the dining area!! So my visit there did not meet my expectations, but I’ll probably dine there during future visits“

“Has a good time and meal here. I agree with other reviewers, the salsa is wildly different than anything I’ve ever had anywhere, I originally didn’t think I cared for it but I kept eating it🤷🏼‍♂ The cheese enchilada was delicious and the chorizo tostada was also very tasty.“
