The pepper jelly cheese burger with fried onion rings was great. The pepper jelly adds just a litlle sweetness with heat to a cheeseburger. The fries are very thin (tobacco style), and crispy with a drizzle of remolaude sauce on top. Crispy chicken “Sammy” on New Orleans style po-boy bread was crisp and juicy. We’ll stop here again when in Ridgway

Used to go to True Grit. Food & service left a lot to be desired, & we got charged extra for side dishes that were supposed to come with the meal. Even with a 25% military discount, it's not worth it anymore. Now, along comes The Lazy Dog Saloon who saved my day of ravenous hunger with their delicious foods.
