Used to go to True Grit. Food & service left a lot to be desired, & we got charged extra for side dishes that were supposed to come with the meal. Even with a 25% military discount, it's not worth it anymore. Now, along comes The Lazy Dog Saloon who saved my day of ravenous hunger with their delicious foods. The pepper jelly cheese burger with fried onion rings was great. The pepper jelly adds just a litlle sweetness with heat to a cheeseburger. The fries are very thin (tobacco style), and crispy with a drizzle of remolaude sauce on top. Crispy chicken “Sammy” on New Orleans style po-boy bread was crisp and juicy. We’ll stop here again when in Ridgway
