Amazing wait staff.and outstanding food
Good local spot to hang at
A great value and close to an entrance of Zion National Park.
It's the PI. It's a dive. The burritos are great.
Family and good food
Nederland's iconic dive bar with so much musical history you'll have to get drunk to believe it...
Great music. Great food.
The server was very rude. she told us after we had to seat our self that they are out of food and out of waitresses. She also said "I don't know what to tell you" she got even more rude when we decided to walk out. This was at lunch time
Awsome food, great pork green chile! Friendly staff
That was certainly an experience. Here's a list of what happened:
- took 30 minutes to get drinks, more for waters
- took 50 min to get food (not very busy)
- server didn't know what beer was on tap (there's literally 4 options) and was annoyed we asked what
- server was rude about asking for black beans (which is listed as an option for the dishes we ordered, it's not like we were asking for something special) and after we ordered said "hope you guys aren't actually vegan, good luck getting that here!" When it's literally listed on their menu
- Server sked someone in our party about her injury, then told us an insane story about a different customer with a gruesome injury
- my order was wrong (got pinto beans, which weren't vegetarian, instead of the black beans I asked for)
Essentially don't come here if you're not a local.

Good food, but our server was VERY rude. She rolled her eyes at me when
I asked what beers they had off tap, and then angrily grabbed the list. Then she got upset when asking what vegetable selection there was. There’s nothing worse than eating a place where you feel like you’re inconveniencing the employees by being there.
Great food, awesome old bar
Love the food and the service! Great chilli! Check out the article on the wall about Joe Walsh tending bar there while he was recording Rocky Mountain Way at the Caribou recording studio. Lots of famous musicians have visited the Pioneer over the years. There's also a smoking area in the small beer garden out back.
Great burgers and excellent service!!!
We heard live music but didn't realize it was coming from the Pioneer Inn until we walked all the way around. Lucky to be here when the Shaun Peace Band was playing! So awesome! Fun place! ...but it should be packed -- live music + one of the only places open for miles around.... (*late night food maybe??*)
