The Train Cars Coffee and Kava

We dropped by to check it out and it was so nice! The vibes were really good, there is a game room/piano room. We had the Maple Bacon Donuts that were really good. 10/10 will recommend if you are in town. Bonus they are dog friendly!

Cure spot for a coffee but service is consistently disappointing .....not surprised to see this being the most mentioned issue by low reviews.

We have been here many times and the staff tend to be rude or unwelcoming, at best. Customers service doesn't seem to be a priority for this business

First place we visited in town and it was cool, good mini donuts. Got both plain and cinnamon sugar and the latter was better in our opinion. Friend and i enjoyed the hor chocolate and hit cider along with the cherry and cheam cheese danishes. Would recommend stopping by for the food and nice old train cars.

love this spot! It's a go to when i am heading to or from Estes Park on the Peak to Peak hwy. Always had great food and coffee and the staff are nice as well.

A coffee and cake stop while on the Peak to Peak road viewing fall colors. Perhaps we were the umpteenth traveling customers that day or caught them at an awkward moment but the service was a little offhand. The coffee and cakes were fine and we loved the quirky train car. We will give it another try.

Ambience was really good, very unique train like and felt really interesting to enter inside train looking coffee shop. I personally didn’t like the coffee though, it was very basic machine coffee with no uniqueness. We also ordered danish cream which was super delicious and worth trying!

I used to enjoy this place for its unique, rustic vibe, but sadly it has gone downhill. The space feels dirty and uncared for, with filthy floors and flies landing on the food — absolutely disgusting. The staff looked unkempt and were unpleasant, which only added to the negative experience. What once felt charming and different now feels neglected and unsanitary. We've been a few times and it has always been very slow and staff hasn't been very friendly but my most recently visit was extremely slow and after waiting 30 min for 2 coffees they had made the wrong drink. Staff was very rude when I brought up the mistake

Very unique coffee shop. If I lived in town I would hang here often. Building in a combination of old train cars, the uniqueness of this coffee shop in fun but cozy. The coffee is way better than Starbucks and brewed well. They have a good selection of snacks and their mini donuts are great. I highly recommend this coffee shop. It one of a kind with good staff, atmosphere, coffee and food. You won't be disappointed.
