Amazing Sushi place. Highly recommended for all sushi lovers. Chicken buns were so flavorful and soft. Tried Shumai for the first time and it was delicious.

Not worth it anymore. I won’t come back.

Saying this makes me sad because Sachi Sushi has been one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Boulder County. I recommended this place to everyone I know even if they weren’t asking because I truly hoped that everyone would support them and their delicious food. I still remember the first time meeting Chef Tsukasa. It was just him working at the restaurant at the time. We were the only customers, and we had a great conversation, talking about Chef Tsukasa’s background. He scooped miso soup for all of us. It was one of the best I’ve ever had. Even though it did take a while to get the food, we enjoyed the nice conversation. I loved the calm and laidback atmosphere there.

Sadly, our experience today was devastating. Like what others said in their reviews, the service is nonexistent. The cashier was so aloof that I actually felt like I owed her money. When I asked her a question, I would get one word answer that was not even accurate. The price on the website for the dish was listed as $16.5, and I called ahead for a confirmation of the online price and was told it was $16.5. I was not informed of the raised price or additional surprise charges, and when I asked about it they informed me that the higher price was for more expensive fish, even though I asked them for the quote for that exact dish and exact fish. They did not offer to honor the $17 price that they mistakenly quoted. I also saw the cashier grabbed the cloth in the rice without washing her hands or putting on gloves right after using the cash register.

The ramen was the worst part of this meal. The ramen had such little food for its highly marked-up price. You can see in my picture how little protein or veggie you get for a $17 ramen. It’s literally the thinnest 2 slices of pork I’ve ever seen in a bowl of ramen (the pork in the picture has not been eaten). The pork tasted good, but we were so hungry after eating here we had to cook ourselves a full dinner at home after. The broth was probably the worst part of this dish. The Shoyu ramen was so salty that we left an almost full bowl of broth there.

My goto order, Una Don, still tasted decent, but something tasted spoiled in the food. Unsurprisingly, my stomach was very upset after eating there.

The ending of this story was us leaving this restaurant forever, emotionally and physically upset. I went home, properly treated my stomach and had my formal dinner.

The restaurant used to be a hidden gem, but it has lost its shine.

Nice old man. Sushi was great. Japanese curry was nothing special. If your only looking for Japanese curry like I was, I wouldn't recommend this place.

I ordered the chicken curry but it turned out to be too spicy for me. The menu did not mention anything about a spice level and no other Japanese curry had ever had any so I didn't expect it. After a few bites I just knew it would bother my stomach so I returned it and politely asked if I could get a refund. I didn't demand nor did I expect one. When the owner agreed to it he then quite rudely told me to never come back. Why agree to the refund then?! What kind of customer service is that to be so ugly to a customer?! I had been looking forward to trying the ramen but since the owner is so disrespectful and has no concern for his customers experience I will honor his demand and never return.

Hands down the best sushi in the boulder county area! The spicy salmon and spicy tuna rolls are my favorites, but honestly anything is amazing. I’ve enjoyed the ramen once on a Sunday and it was a delight as well!

Sachi Sushi is the best hidden gem of Niwot. Unassuming tucked away in the back of a market/deli, but this is the real deal. Chef taught most of the sushi chefs of Boulder how to make rice decades ago, and now we are lucky enough that he wants to relax and make sushi in a tiny pocket of Niwot. Don’t miss ramen on Sundays!!!

Recently, I have been going to this store often. The manager is very kind and easy to talk to. The food is delicious and cheap as well as the service. If you like sushi and ramen, please come to this restaurant.

We loved it. Great food. Sushi was fresh and not smothered in sauce to mask bad fish. It is in the market/grocery store but there is plenty of seating. Chef Tsukasa was swamped but we sat at the bar and watched him work and he was great!

Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of open seating

Best sushi in the front range (tied with AOI in my book), however the laid back atmosphere and prices make it easier to enjoy more regularly. Having spent time in Japan, this is the closest in quality and preparation I’ve found in the front range. I will keep returning. Hats off to Chef Tsukasa and his amazing work!

Vegetarian options: Some nice vegetarian options. If you have strict dietary restrictions, this is not your place and you should NOT ask for it to be differently made. They make what is on the menu, and they do it well.
