This place is so short staffed that frustration is very high. Makes dining a little uncomfortable.

Seems like Tomilyn likes to manage other people's money but she somehow ended up a waitress. Went through the reviews to see if anyone else had a similar experience, and looks like Tomilyn is the problem not the place itself. We were in Ouray on vacation and we visited this place 1st time and absolutely loved the food and the lady who served us(she was an older woman, unfortunately I don't know her name) ,she took the time to explain everything and make sure we're satisfied with our experience. We decided to go there again today, why would i try other places when I know this place was really good? So we went again and got kicked in the gut. The server, this time Tomilyn, said we can go get drinks ourselves, and to back to the soda machine if you want refills, OK no big deal, the food was good again, so kudos to the chef, no complaints, good job, however at the end we got slapped with a 20% forced tip we didn't ask nor approved of, there were only 4 of us. It's my money , why are you taking money out of my pocket ? Who are you ? Tips are for excellent service, the customer decides if the service was great, and if it was you'll get rewarded, if not, you need to do better. Meanwhile this girl is out of control, taking my money and many other people's money from the reviews I read, just because she wants to. This 2nd time we showed up completely ruined our experience, especially since it's on our last day on vacation here, absolutely disgusting behavior.

So - this place is gross. I had the worst Margherita Pizza ever here, and honestly, how is that even possible?! The cheese had a weird sour aftertaste as if it was low quality cheese stored at room temperature and truly left the worst taste in my mouth. I don’t like to leave reviews like this, but I felt ill the rest of the evening and decided it needed to be said. Also, I was fed some crazy line about the “proper way” to serve a Blue Moon beer. The server was a nice person and attentive. Unfortunately they were misinformed about how to serve a citrus wheat beer, passing along said misinformation, and obviously not from CO. And no, the proper way is not with cinnamon poured on top. Interesting and fall like flavor? Yes. Proper? No.

We visited twice. The first night we tried the pizza, it was a bit on the heavy and greasy side, but still tasty. The second night my wife ordered a salad that was excellent, and I had a cordon bleu sandwich, which was also very good. The service was genuine and friendly, though the staff seemed a bit overworked due to being short staffed

We ordered a pizza and a salad. The pizza was great and the salad is big enough for 2-3 people and was scrumptious.

We showed up with a party of 8, 45 min before close. The guy seemed annoyed to serve that many people, (our tab was $398) Order lots of food including fried pickles and cheese curds. They came with 4 small sides of ranch. After seeing our bill, ranch was an extra $2.50 each, which the waiter never mentioned “ would you like ranch with your appetizer for an extra $2.50 each?” Then we had 5 old fashions with another surprise charge- An EXTRA $75 for Makers Mark on TOP of the old fashion drink charge, of which the server never said that’s an up charge. Really sucks to feel taken advantage of and be charged how ever they feel like it. I’m sure they figured we are tourists and they will never see us again so who cares. They are correct- they will never see us again.

The food took over 30 minutes to be ready, even though the cashier said it would be done in 15 minutes when we asked before ordering. They also chose the tip amount instead of letting me decide. They also missed the fries in the meal, which includes salad (Coleslaw) and fries.

Ordered a takeaway pizza in the evening almost 45 mins before close on the labor day weekend. Found a sticker on a bell pepper slice. Subpar quality for an item charged at $30+.

We never imagined we’d leave this restaurant feeling scammed — but here we are.

Water, two pizzas, and a salad for $101. Let that sink in. Not only was the food below average in size, but apparently $2.50 per tiny portion of what could only be described as bargain-bin ranch dressing is the standard here. After visiting almost every other restaurant in ouray, almost every one not only tastes better, is more affordable but also treats you like a customer instead of an inconvenience.

As for our server, Tomilyn? She appeared exactly three times: once to take the order, once to drop food, and once to drop the bill. No drink refills, in fact, we ended up doing that ourselves. The Cobb salad was requested without bacon but with chicken, and when it arrived to our surprise it was also without chicken. We were informed after the bill was presented that “bacon and chicken are combined and can’t be separated” news to us, and something that, according to our server, was conveniently forgotten to be mentioned earlier and despite asking for it once the food arrived she never brought it us, but instead said you get what you ordered, which was lettuce, some mixed veggies and ranch for over $17 dollars, far more then almost every other restaurant in ouray.

And the tip? Automatically slapped on at 20% for a party of 7, even though their own policy states that it’s for parties of 8+. When questioned, we were flat-out lied to, told there was “nothing she could do” and that we could “come back tomorrow” to deal with it.

We went to the bar to pay, asked for a manager, Tomilyn told us they had “left for the evening.” The promise was we’d get a call the next day. Shocking absolutely no one… no call. When we returned the following day, the owner himself told us there’s always a manager on-site (so why were we told otherwise?) and shrugged off the entire situation with a “nothing I can do” attitude. Zero accountability. Zero effort to make things right.

We’ve been loyal customers for years, coming here every time we’re in town for the pizza. But after being lied to by staff, treated as if our concerns were an inconvenience, and essentially told by the owner that our loyalty meant nothing, we’re done. Not just disappointed, we feel completely taken advantage of.
