Mineshaft Bar, Restaurant, and Pizzeria

Very good food...everything was cooked to perfection...I loved the shoestring onion rings...never had like this before and the fried chicken was amazing...lightly breaded...great flavour!! The fish was light and flakey...coleslaw just like KFC....A+

Ordered fish and chips and a Ceasar salad and had it delivered to my room in a nearby hotel. Fish and chips were ok but the Ceasar was absolutely drowned in dressing and cheese. If you order, just be sure to specify dressing on the side! I also thought it was pricey at $38. Threw almost all of the salad out and half of the fries. Coleslaw also had too much dressing and very runny. I wouldn’t order from there again.

Great views, but that’s where the positive ends.

Really tasty pizza and garlic bread, prepared quickly with kind service! We ordered to go, desperate for a hot meal after a long day in the mountains. Ordering over the phone was easy and they gave us an expected pick up time. It was ready even sooner, which was awesome. Everyone we talked to was very nice. Pizza was delicious and hot. They also offer free delivery which would be awesome if you were staying in town!

We had a large party and the server was excellent. We ordered 2 meat lovers, 3 pepperoni and 1 Mediterranean . It was all delicious. I had a Cadillac Margherita, it was a smaller Margherita than what I had before but good.

It took over an hour & 1/2 for my food to arrive. This is a small town, as it’s the only place that actually delivers -that’s the ONLy reason I spent any money here. GO!!!!!!!!!! Omg. This place has the best Philly steak sandwich ever. The serving size was remarkable. DO EAT HERE!!!!! Wish we would’ve found it our first night. It’s absolutely the best. We walked over to it then back to Abrams where we stayed.

We just stayed a week at the hotel right beside the restaurant. The last day of our stay we were enjoying our last meal before heading out. The food is actually pretty good. My husband wanted to grab a yogurt for the road so I looked around for some spoons. I found some in a package on top of the bar. I quickly realized it wasn't a plastic spoon so I headed to the dirty dishes to drop the spoon. While I was taking it out of the package a woman with grayish hair with it always in a ponytail screamed and ran at us from across the restaurant like she was going to tackle me. She says You Cannot take that spoon!!!! I said mam I was putting it in the dirty dishes when I realized it wasn't plastic. She still is screaming saying you can't take that spoon! I promise you I never would steal your 25 cent spoon. How extremely unprofessional to yell and run across a restaurant about a spoon. The food is pretty good but please look out for this employee. She'll scream if you do something she thinks is wrong. What a crazy experience that was!
