Paid $11.23 for an avocado toast that had a few pieces of avocado on it with the smallest swipe of veggie cream cheese. I've been coming here for years and have never had such a poorly made avocado toast, they said when I asked about how little was on the toast that their boss has them make it this way. I will never order it again. Rip off! Go to the root house. Better coffee. Better food. Better service! I won't be back. TO ANYONE READING THIS!! You can go have a sit down breakfast anywhere in town and spend less money than you will at this establishment.

Coffee was decent, got a cappucino, just tastes like starbucks. Got a gf bagel that ended up being around $18.75 with tip, way too much. I am not familiar with the area and just needed some food but wouldn't go back just for the price of everything, which ended up being close to $30 for a drip coffee, small cappucino and bagel. Was decent otherwise.

The baked goods are a good enough reason to go here. Highly recommend the cinnamon roll!

Stopped here for a coffee and pumpkin spice latte while traveling through. Great service, friendly workers and the drinks were delicious!

We came here for coffee twice during our stay in Pagosa. The tea and iced coffee were good. I also had a chocolate chip cookie that I'd get again. The atmosphere was cozy. The reason for the 4 stars was that both times we went, the line was very long and slow moving. They were also out of matcha and wouldn't be getting any more in for the duration of our stay, but didn't have any signs on the menu or counter stating they were out of that menu item. It was a bit frustrating to hear that after standing in line for 15 minutes.

Disappointed in the customer service. Stopped in on Friday and they weren’t friendly. Decided to chalk it up to an off day and tried again today on my way back through and again felt like I was a bother. Sad because they have good food.

I honestly love this coffee shop, the breakfast sandwiches are good and so is the coffee. Pastries are also very good.

Service is usually always great, done with a smile. There are times when certain employees work the front that the interaction isn’t as great but normally I have a pleasant experience.

Only true complaint is the price. It costs $17.50 for a simple bagel breakfast sandwich or a croissant & a medium iced coffee which is way too much. This is a small town.. not Denver or LA, so shouldn’t be priced like a large city… and it definitely shouldn’t cost $17.50 before any kind of tip to have a single coffee & breakfast sandwich.

Would love it if they offered a locals’ discount or punchcard.

I have celiac disease and will never go here. It’s absolutely insane that gluten free bread is an additional $4.00. Really? $4.00? That’s stealing at this point.

Great food and coffee overall. The baristas are very friendly and attentive. The menu is extensive and the pastries are always amazing. One thing about the breakfast sandwiches however is that for $10 for a breakfast sandwich, you would expect it to have more than 1 slice of ham on the croissant. Flavor and quality is great but for the price, 1 slice of meat on a sandwich is disrespectful.

Definitely worth the stop!

My fiancée got a sausage burrito and he loved it (including the salsa - super fresh) and I got the egg, spinach, mushroom quiche, iced green citrus tea, a hot peach tea, banana bread, and two muffins.

We were super impressed with the quality of food. Everything seemed baked and prepped fresh. Staff was friendly and teas are refreshing. Best quiche I’ve had in a long time!

Also bathrooms were clean!
