Must stop if you're looking for coffee! This is a great coffee shop with a great backdrop. Stopped by after seeing the reviews during our road trip and was not disappointed! Ordered a chai and their special at the time "The Joker." Was not disappointed. Both drinks came out very quick and filled to the brim. The atmosphere is clean and offers plenty of seating.

If you Don't know what an extra shot is you should ask someone or even the person asking for it . It is not just put some light roost in the cup . On top of the dark roost that's NOT an extra shot .

Every time we go to Pagosa Springs, this is the place we start our mornings. The vibe is right, coffee is great and the food is excellent. They have so many varieties of drinks and pastries and sandwiches to choose from. Higher grounds is very nostalgic to me and cannot wait to visit again!

When the website is down/not working and you call for help, to place an order over the phone. They won’t- they aren’t “allowed to.” Check your “WiFi” So, there goes your sale, and all future ones too.Coffee is so so and over priced anyways.

It's very strange to me when a restaurant refuses to prepare food as you request. If they're cooking eggs, bacon cheese and putting it on a sandwich and then they refuse to cook eggs, bacon and cheese scramble together and put it on a plate. It seems like a personal or mental issue, either way this place is not very accommodating. So I got a cuppa coffee thinking that might be good. Nope over roasted. Ethiopian light roast is not supposed to taste burnt. The front of the house staff was nice.
Love their dark roast coffee and their blueberry scones... they don't skimp on the blueberry. ;)
