It is a must stop when visiting Pagosa Springs. Delicious food and excellent customer service. It’s a small sized restaurant, however, food, service and value is all worth the wait. Party of 6 included children and who enjoyed working on the kids’ menu activity sheet. Good portions for adults and children. We will continue to visit The Rose when visiting Pagosa Springs.

The Rose seemed right up my alley and I wanted to love it, but sadly my meal was mediocre. The hashbrowns were particularly disappointing, barely cooked, no flavor whatsoever. Take this with a grain of salt as others clearly have had a much better experience! Also, this might be for you if you are sensitive to spicy food, as the chopped green chile omelet (with roasted hatch chile) was not at all spicy, which some might find desirable. Very cute place. Great atmosphere and decor. Our server was very friendly and fast. Portions were good, but the hash browns were under seasoned, even a dash of salt and pepper didn't help. Highly recommend the apple and ham grilled cheese, yum!

Parking: Had no problem parking on the street.

Kid-friendliness: Nice for kids.
