We Stopped in after hiking and driving all over Grand Mesa on Sunday Oct 6th. We were dusty, tired and hungry. We ordered drinks and got one of the best Old Fashions we have ever had. Their Bistro style food was excellent. The bartender was awesome, she told us all about the distillery and the owners and the peach orchard adjacent to the facility. Great scenery and a great place to visit in Palisade Colorado.

Good drinks, fair food (just barely), horrible service. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Average food with an excellent outdoor dining area offering great views of the Book Cliffs. We ordered the Basecamp Burger and a Flatbread Pizza. The burger was flavorful but it could have been more robust and it lacked fresh greens and other common vegetables. The Flatbread Pizza was unremarkable and we kept wondering what it was supposed to taste like—even though it had many different toppings, you could only taste the cheese, salt, and charred ends. The fries were tasty—a crisp and slightly crunchy battered exterior with a soft interior.

Our experience at Clark’s while on vacation in Palisade was not good and we will not be back. We sat on the patio, ordered our dinner and there were two patrons sitting right off the patio smoking. Their cigarette smoke was blowing in and fowling the air and when we asked if management could do something, they wouldn’t, and they allowed their “regular” customers to continue smoking. The men smoking laughed at us and smoked more. We moved inside to eat and felt like it didn’t matter to the Clark management because they backed up their local patrons. I don’t recommend this establishment at all.

Warning! This establishment caters to smokers. The restaurant does not provide a smoking area outside, so if you sit on the deck, which you'll want to do, be prepared for a solid cigarette smoke filled area. Management only wants to please the locals who smoke, who by the way are extremely rude and disrespectful and nasty. Management does not care about making tourist guests happy. Little did they know who our group was and who we report our experiences to. Definitely not kid friendly. There are many other really great places in town to have drinks and/or dine at. Don't waste your time or money here!

I can’t eat red meat. Kitchen has made chicken sliders for me four times in the past. Today they refused. Disappointing. Still a fun place, though, not as fun as it used to be.

Portions small, service mediocre. Receipts automatically assume you will pay with a credit card and show a 4% markup. (Ask them to give you cash price if paying cash.). You can get your own water from a jug rather than a waiter bringing it to you.

The burger was $17 and was probably less than 6oz patty. Environment was nice, patio is nice. Paying for ambiance more than food quality.

Great place, great views, good times! Would be better if you got a discount for your name being Clark, but oh well...

The drinks are incredible and I loved the views and atmosphere of the place. However the food was slightly disappointing.

Awesome spot on the river, patio was nice.
Adult limeade with cherry tasted incredible.
The goat burger was one of the best burgers I'd had in a long time (make it a double).

Try the Bloody Mary if you need a little something to tide you over until next Tuesday! What a treat. Great atmosphere and crew.

PROS:
1. Great burger.
2. sauce for the sweet potato fries is unusual and wonderful.
3. Backporch is shaded with cooling fans.

CONS:
1. Back porch is junkie.
2. View is okay but some mowing and cleanup of the back area is needed.
