“Haus of Purrl is a unique eatery that has no equal. The owner/operator pours love into every meal and sweet treat she makes and it shows. The menu is constantly changing, and I've noticed over the years that other businesses around the valley will follow her lead and steal her ideas. I suppose imitation is a form of flattery, but Haus of Purrl is the innovator. A quaint little spot, colorful drinks and tasy comfort food.”
“We had lunch here. The reuben sandwich is delicious. One person in our group said it was the best reuben he's had! It was that good. We ordered a few flights of cider. Blueberry-Lavender and Just Peachy ciders were two of our favorites. We all enjoyed this place. The service was top notch. Our server Gabe and another server (didn't get his name) were excellent! When Gabe saw us walking to the door he beat us to it so he could hold the door open for our group. We'll definitely be back.”
“I’ve been here a few times and always love it. Relaxed, neat atmosphere. Outside seating is awesome when it’s nice out. Love the cats that roam. I haven’t tried many of their sweet/fruit wines but their dry wines are great.”
“This place may be on the expensive side but the food and service makes up for it. Superb flavor! To me it was a normal, what should be, serving size. Would definitely go here again. We had the poblano fries, Huevos Rancheros and Oaxacan Taco’s. All excellent!”
“Can I just start by saying “Woaw”!! This food is amazing , it has great flavor and prices are very reasonable! Also the service was fantastic, I will 100% be back to try more items on the menu! ??”
“Great place to come to try a lot of different fruit or honey wines. The staff was friendly and there was a decent amount of indoor seating (we visited in December so were unable to sit outside). They also offer charcuterie which was delicious. They have a limited standard wine menu, so if you aren't into sweet wines you may have a harder time finding a ton to try, but I still enjoyed trying the fruit wines and the select red wines they had.”
“We had a wonderful time at Caroline's. It was our first time there. Lovely atmosphere with great service. Lupita knew the wine and food menu very well and answered all of our questions. The food was AMAZING!! We will be back and we highly recommend!!! Thank you for making our Anniversary special!!!”
“Beautiful place and great service. The art and decor was wonderful. I had a cider flight and there were a few I liked and several I didn't. 8 ciders to try on a flight with generous portions. GREAT ATMOSPHERE!”
“Great wine, great service, nice views from their upstairs outdoor seating area, and great atmosphere. James was our server and super nice! He gave us a lot of good feedback on what to check out in the area, answered all of our wine questions, and honestly - we joined their wine club because of him explaining all the benefits of it! Can't wait to go back during harvest! We highly recommend!”
“Over recent years and under new ownership, Maison La Belle Vie gets better and better via an expanded menu, additional hours, a variety of first-rate wines and reliable, welcoming service. From crudités and charcuterie platters to burgers, sandwiches, salads and fish-night dinners, the menu is diverse and the food is delicious. Sample a wine flight then choose your favorite to go with your meal. The gourmet desserts are fabulous if you save room. The patio setting offers scenic views or dine inside if the weather isn’t cooperating. Five minutes off I-70 in the vineyard. Enjoy!”
“From the first bite to the last, this restaurant was phenomenal. It's a bit pricey, but between their service, quality of their food, atmosphere, and overall experience - it was worth every penny. Could I dine here every night, no - but would I do it every time I came to visit palisades - ABSOLUTELY. I also loved their farm to table approach and perfectly prepared meals and cocktails. Can't wait to go back next year!”
“Elk was very flavorful and done perfectly. Sirloin was good also but had more fat than I would like. French onion soup was one of the best I've ever had. Service was wonderful! We will definitely be back.”
“The wines are really good but the selection is limited to only 5 tastings (maybe because it's the off season?). Ken was very pleasant and friendly. His passion for wine shows and I learned a few things about the process. His tasting room is in a small garage, but it is nicely decorated and felt cozy with a wood burning stove going!Expect to pay top dollar for the tasting ($20) and the wines ($40/bottle) which is why I rate this with 4 stars. If the prices were more comparable with other Palisade wineries ($10-$15/tastings, $20-$35/bottle), it would be a game changer for me to regularly return.”
“100 percent go here. You will not be disappointed. Get the jalapeno brisket add onions. Wish they served french fries but they don't. Beer was good, food was incredible. Dog friendly outside on the patio. They have a covered part of the patio for the colder months.”
“This wine tasting was amazing. Alex is so incredibly knowledgeable and so stinkin fun!! We were laughing the entire time, but left knowing so much about the wines. Last but not least the wines were incredible! Alex is the wine maker. He was incredible.”
