We Stopped in after hiking and driving all over Grand Mesa on Sunday Oct 6th. We were dusty, tired and hungry. We ordered drinks and got one of the best Old Fashions we have ever had. Their Bistro style food was excellent. The bartender was awesome, she told us all about the distillery and the owners and the peach orchard adjacent to the facility. Great scenery and a great place to visit in Palisade Colorado.
Average food with an excellent outdoor dining area offering great views of the Book Cliffs. We ordered the Basecamp Burger and a Flatbread Pizza. The burger was flavorful but it could have been more robust and it lacked fresh greens and other common vegetables. The Flatbread Pizza was unremarkable and we kept wondering what it was supposed to taste like—even though it had many different toppings, you could only taste the cheese, salt, and charred ends.
