We were passing through town this past Thursday and decided to stop in and grab a bottle. Anne convinced us to do a tasting. She and Onyx were very knowledgeable about all the wines, and educated us on a lot of the wine making processes. It was so fascinating! They even let us taste a freshly pressed juice. Grande River vineyards is an incredible winery with amazing award winning wines! In fact, it’s hard to pick which ones to buy, so the membership club is a good way to go. The grounds and tasting area are well kept and enjoyable. The owner and all the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Their hotel next door, wine country inn, is by far the best place to stay in the entire valley. It is quaint, beautifully landscaped, wonderful pool/hot tub, great breakfast and restaurant....
This was one of my favorite winerys. Stacey was our host and she was very pleasant and made the whole experience amazing. I definitely recommend this winery if you're in Palisades.
