The tastings are affordable and there is a wide selection. I like sweet wines, so every mead from Meadery of the Rockies was a home run! I ended up buying the honey apricot mead...it's so good!
This place was a lovely surprise! We arrived fairly early in their day, and sat at the bar to do a tasting with Travis. I typically enjoy more dry wines and wasn't expecting to like their fruit wines or the mead, but Travis encouraged us to try a little bit of everything, and we learned a lot from him. The variety of what they produce is pretty astounding, and both the inside and outside seating areas were comfortable places to relax and enjoy the day. We didn't order...
We had two tastings of all the fruit wines and mead and all of them were fantastic. Obviously sweet, but no signs of headache. Came back the next day for the wine and fantastic too! so impressed. Thanks for the friendly attentive service! great place!
