We were promptly seated. They were out of the first three dishes we ordered. It wasn't busy, but the service was slow. We really wanted to love this restaurant, but won't be going back.

Good place, and good food. Really miss the tall blond girl who would make the BEST salads in the world. ?
One of the worst dining experiences I have had in recent memory. We had a reservation at 5:30, the restaurant was not busy with two waitresses serving tables. There were multiple things not available, but we weren’t told what they were out of or what the specials were. Our waitress wasn’t very friendly and took over 45 minutes to bring us bread after greeting us and taking our drink order. The only reason we got the bread was because I got up and tracked down our waitress to ask for it (after we were told it was coming our way multiple times). I finally asked when I watched two other tables come in after us to be seated and receive bread before us. At this point, our waitress informed us that the kitchen was running behind, which I am sympathetic to, but if your kitchen is running behind, it’s less noticeable if you have bread to nibble on. At this point, we asked to cancel our order. She said we couldn’t because it had been started. We asked how long it would be until the food would be out. In which she said 10 minutes. We waited another 25 minutes for some of the worst food I’ve ever been served or be brought out to us. My husband‘s dinner literally looked like chicken with snot on top, and my pizza was worse than Totino‘s pizza from the frozen food section. We are always excited to support local businesses, but this is one we will not be returning to.

Took over an hour to get our food. Probably should have come with a salad. This is my second time trying this restaurant, I think my last :(

Bella Panini was the perfect choice for our Saturday night! We had a special occasion, so we went in at 6 on a Saturday and were sat immediately. My husband had the spaghetti and meatballs while I had the Rosemary Chicken Parm with a house salad. The salad was the perfect size with a fresh and homemade basil dressing. The rosemary parm had a perfectly balanced garlic lemon cream sauce that complimented the lightly fried chicken perfectly. My husband’s meatballs were homemade and paired with the house marinara making this the best Italian dinner we have had in a minute! The cherry on top was the service by our waiter and the owner coming out to personally thank us for coming out. Definitely give yourself plenty of time to check out this little hole in the wall. Our only regret was being on a time crunch.

Ate the chef's favorite special pizza tonight. Very delicious and lightening speed service. Also, the price was right. Thank you. This was my first time in a while and I will return often.

Just turned away for a party of two. There were 3 other tables in there. The hostess said the cook quit and the owner can’t keep up. KT please come back! We have been coming here since KT started it. This guy is a joke. This used to be a local favorite, the new owner has no idea how to run a restaurant. We called to order a pizza to pick up a couple of weeks ago and was told it would take over 2 hours because they didn’t have enough help.
Great atmosphere and excellent service. Food was delicious and well presented. We will definitely return.
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian Lasagna was, delicious. I was with a large group of people and one of us ordered vegetarian lasagna , and she said it was excellent ?

We often go to Bella's. It is our go-to restaurant in Palmer Lake. They recently changed ownership, so we worried about a drop off in food, but it has been consistent and good. It is a great local eatery. Palmer Lake is a cute little town near Colorado Springs, and Bella Panini fits right in.

Horrible! We waited an hour and a half for our food after asking repeatedly about the hold-up. Excuse after excuse. The right thing to do would be to comp our dinner, but all we received were rude excuses from the chef. The food was horrid, nearly TV dinner style. We will never return.

Restaurantji Recommends
Ultimately, I’m just disappointed. We wanted to like this place but at this time I would not recommend dining here unless they get some things get figured out.
My wife and I walked in with a reservation at 5:45 and asked to be seated outside when there were 2 person tables open, but they couldn’t do that for some reason. We went inside and were told we would be seated in the back of the restaurant, which happened to be near a loud group. With 60% of the tables in the restaurants empty, we asked if we could be seated at an open table that we saw by the window that would’ve been more peaceful for us and were told that they couldn’t do that. (That 2 person table was empty for the next 2 hours.) We were confused about the seating, but determined to enjoy our dinner.
We got our order taken 20 min after being seated. Waitress was pleasant and helpful in picking items off the menu. Food took a long time (45 min after we ordered) to arrive for a pizza and chicken pasta order. When the waitress came with our order, she had two pizzas. As she was trying to walk away without asking if things looked right, we told her that we had ordered pasta, not the second pizza. She had the kitchen fix that. After starting to eat the pizza we had ordered, we noticed that our Margherita with pepperoni pizza did not in fact have any pepperoni. It took our waitress 10 min to come back so that we could tell her that. She apologized and comped the pizza. The pasta took another 5 min to come out and ended up not tasting good (pasta tasting overpoweringly of garlic, no rosemary flavor on a rosemary chicken).
This is a painful review to write because we try to be understanding of restaurants in the midst of transition, but lack of accommodation for seating, 1 hour wait for food, and literally every item being wrong means that serious change is needed.

We have gone many times. The food is always delicious . The bread is fresh and warm. The pizza delectable. Desserts are great! We have had at least 4 of the dessert options.

We had a delicious dinner. We ordered a Margarita pizza and spaghetti and meatballs. The wine choices were very good. The chef came to our table and introduced himself and checked on our food preparation. The atmosphere was perfect! Highly recommend this hidden gem!!

Ordered the food at 5:00, just got home and it’s 6:15. They offered me a glass of wine for the long wait, which I accepted. Apparently, it wasn’t on the house! Asked to make sure the bread and butter was included in the take out (it was Italian) they said yes. When it wasn’t in the bag, I asked again. She said we charge for butter when it’s take out. I said ok, I’ll use my own butter. Then she went to the back and said actually the bread and butter both cost extra at take out. I verified that it was included in the meal when dining in and they said yes… then I got home to my meal… burned, dry, no flavor… cheese had been burned off and the oil used to cook the chicken seems very old…
