Portofino's Pizza and Pasta in Parker is known for its New York style, made-from-scratch pizza and a variety of Italian entrees. The margherita pizza, Greek salad, and seasonal cocktail, Blackberry Sidecar, are particularly popular. Customers have discovered the restaurant's excellent pizza, highlighted by the addition of basil, tomatoes, cheese, and garlic, along with fresh and tasty salads. The restaurant also features a full bar with a wine list and Coke products. Dessert options, such as cannoli and chocolate martini, are highly recommended.
The service is described as excellent, with staff receiving high praise for their kindness and professionalism. The atmosphere is just right, and many appreciate the option to sit on the patio, especially with pets. The location is small and can get crowded, particularly on weekends. Parking can be tricky, but customers have always been able to find a spot with a short walk. The quiet atmosphere makes it easy to have conversations without yelling.
Many customers praise the food, especially the garlic knots, which are considered to be to die for. The cheese tortellini with pink sauce and Fiocchi con Bacon are favorites, often described as delicious and perfectly crafted. The food arrives piping hot and consistently meets high standards. Portofino's also offers fantastic beverages like the Blackberry Sidecar and Blackberry bourbon cocktail, which many find to be excellent.
While some have mentioned issues with overcooked appetizers like fried ravioli and tough garlic knots, overall, the restaurant is highly recommended for its great food, drinks, and service. Reservations or arriving early are advised to secure an indoor table. Many customers express confidence that everything served at the restaurant is just as good as what they have tried and appreciate the reasonable prices.
