We finally got in at the historic Buck Snort Saloon. My husband and I have been attempting for the past 9 years (that we've lived in the area & became aware of its existence). But we always found it closed. Today was our lucky day. There is a lot of history here & fun whimsy. We each had one of their 1/2 hamburgers. They were delicious. We also shared a slice of their snickers ice cream pie. 😋
It was a fun drive to Sphinx Park and a great lunch. Thanks...

This place is an absolute must. There's nothing like it anywhere else! Go on a hike and stop in for great burgers, cold beer and super friendly service. Mac n cheese is great too! If you've got a group, split a huge slice of ice cream pie - definitely something to share. We've been here several times now and look forward to more visits!

We absolutely love the Bucksnort and are so happy to see it reopened. The new ownership has done an incredible job bringing this historic gem back to life.

They hosted our nephew’s rehearsal dinner, and it could not have been a better setting. The venue is full of character and history, the river right alongside the property adds such a special touch, and the space was perfect for guests to mingle and celebrate. It was especially convenient being just 15 minutes...
