“Just moved back up to the mountains and they made me an AWESOME gluten free sourdough and I also had a killer gf coffee cake, would absolutely suggest stopping by, everything looked ”
“Fast and efficient service. Food is made to order and you can sit in the sun on a picnic table or they bring it to your car while you wait. We had the sausage breakfast burrito, smothered in green chili and a Sophie's Special smothered. Both delicious and we devoured them after a xcountry ski day above Grant. A husband and wife duo do everything. They seem very nice and genuinely concerned that you enjoy. Located in Pine Junction at THE traffic signal. Prices are great. Oh yah, we had a churro too. Fresh and yummy. Not quite as good as from a street vendor in Mexico City but not bad for back country Colorado. I think we were out the door for less than $30 total.”
“I had the house salad with berry vinaigrette, and a bowl of the soup of the day, which was pumpkin curry. I should have gotten a cup instead - I could hardly finish it, it was so hearty! They top the soup with bread crumbs that are seasoned to taste like my Grandpa's stuffing, which was a nice surprise. The salad was plentiful and the very vinaigrette was really good. My family had burgers, which were small but the right size for lunch. The fries were absolutely delicious. Kids meal came in a bento box, and lots of food. Our server was really great. Very attentive and patient. Actually brought out a cup and bowl to show me the sizes for the soup, which was very nice.Great atmosphere. We visited in early December and it was very festively decorated! Very spacious, bright, and lots of cool artwork inside. We've driven by this place for years; I'm so glad we finally stopped to try it!Parking: Plenty of parking behind the restaurant if the main lot is full.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu, plenty of space to move around. Lots of food for the price.”
“Consistently good for food and drinks. It's been open regularly and has good staff! Thursday night karaoke is a great Time with Ronnie, and the service there has been really great!”
“This is the only drive-thru in this small mountain town. The breakfast burritos are amazing. Burgers are great.Their fries are the absolute best. Every item on their menu is great. I've been eating there for 20 years and never had a bad meal.”
“Great local option for healthy wraps, soups and falafel tots! Carnivore and vegetarian-friendly. Groovy Grateful Dead decor and hippy-wholesome feel, without the Boulder-hippy pretentiousness (if you know, you know). With a convenient location right off I-285, RMW is a great option for those wanting healthy alternatives to fast food or who want to grab a clean, energizing meal on their way up to enjoy the Colorado outdoors!Parking: Limited parking can be a challenge during busier times.”
“My wife and I stopped in here for Valentine's Day. We saw very good reviews in recent months and thought it was time to visit. We were not disappointed. It is just down the street from us, but we hadn't had a chance to check it out since it became Mexico Lindo. As others have said, do NOT let the fact it is next to a gas station dissuade you whatsoever. The food was excellent! The flavors of everything we had were vibrant and varied. I don't honestly know the difference between Mexican food and Tex-Mex (as others in these reviews say they do), but some have said this is true Mexican. The atmosphere is similar to the previous place, but they have switched up the paintings, the pottery, and the wall of birthday photos has disappeared. It was nice to go to a place where the heat is actually on. It was warm and cozy. There are still about 8 booths and several tables with wood and ceramic tiling. To start, one nice thing here is in addition to salsa and chips they also provided a warm and creamy bean and queso dip. We polished that off in a blink of an eye. Very good!My wife had the Mole Enchiladas and I had the Enchiladas Divorciadas (especially loved the Culichi sauce). We also had a 1/2 carafe of sangria. If the prices seem a little high to some people it is because you get huge portions (we ate half and took half home). Even so, prices here are on par with most quality restaurants post-Covid. Again, the flavors of all the dishes were vibrant and interesting to us.For dessert we had the flan. Their flan might be a little bigger portion than what we have had elsewhere and just the right sweetness and consistency. We definitely plan to go back. Their dine-in menu is quite extensive. The waitress was very personable and friendly as was the hostess. Since it was Valentine's Day they filled up while we were there (we got there around 4:30 p.m.) though we did not have to wait to be seated at that time of day.We highly recommend this eatery whether you are local to Conifer or passing through to or from the mountains or Denver.Vegetarian options: Although we did not have any of the vegetarian options there is a separate section on the menu with them. You may want to check with them as to which sauces might include pork (if any)?Dietary restrictions: You may want to call them concerning gluten-free and other options. I did not note what options (if any) they had.Parking: Most of the parking is in front of the restaurant and near the gas pumps (perpendicular to rt. 285), but there is more parking on the other side (the south side) of the gas pumps and building.Kid-friendliness: This is a family-oriented restaurant and we did see a couple of kids during our visit, but since it was Valentine's Day it was mostly adult couples.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is on the ground floor. There are no stairs inside or outside and the front door is standard width (I assume wheelchair accessible).”
“The food here is incredible! We loved the prior restaurant and sad to see it go. However, this is a solid restaurant to take its place. Been here a couple times. The lemongrass and coconut soups both amazing, and beef rainforest. Delish! The inside is a little cold for my preference, though the hot tea helps! Highly recommend!!!!Dietary restrictions: I’m gluten free and hubby is dairy/egg free there are lots of options to meet all those dietary preferences!”
“Very flavorful food, gracious friendly staff, and many items can be made Gluten Free.Dietary restrictions: Many items can be made Gluten Free if you skip the breading and take your chicken unbreaded in the dish.”
“My family and I went here for dinner, and my kids absolutely loved the miso soup. Also, the waiter was extremely friendly, and introduced us to Japanese sodas, and also taught us a few words in Japanese. The sushi was excellent.”
“Every now and then God sees favor in you and helps you stumble into an exceptional foodie experience. Well the favor was bestowed upon me by finding this yellow food truck aka The Yum Bus. Everything is made to order and it comes out hot and fresh. I've been here about 5 times now and have only ordered one thing. Papa's Cheese burger. It is a mouth watering cheeseburger with fresh ground beef cooked how you like and is accompanied by onions, tomatoes, lettuce and a soft chewy and crisp brioche bun. I don't know if I should be ashamed or proud of how fast I gobble down the burger, but it seems to just glide down my gullet like a sled down a fresh snowy hill. It quite honestly may be the best burger I've had. It's also served with a heaping helping of fries which are always crispy and piping hot. The owner is a gentlemen and very accommodating and a pleasure to interact with. They have some makeshift tables out in front for you to stand and enjoy your food while taking in the mountain air and surrounding mountains. If you're ever in Bailey stop in and treat yourself you won't be disappointed.”
“Great service and food. We got one Mediterranean pizza and one blackened salmon Caesar salad. The salmon was cooked to perfection! The portions were big enough to take plenty of leftovers. Home. Will be back.”
“Ebony and Vine is a gem in Conifer - one of a kind. We love dining at this restaurant, and dine there often - Laurie and Cliff are welcoming hosts/owners of the venue, and Chef Randy serves up delightful food for your dining experience. We especially like the monthly Wine Tasting events hosted by Paul Colangelo - the food is always scrumptious, and Paul always has a superb selection of wines (4-5 bottles) to pair with the courses. Go there for lunch, dinner, Sunday brunch, and delight your discerning palate!Dietary restrictions: Ebony and Vine can handle any dietary restrictions - just let therm know.”
“There was a Taco Tuesday special going on and it was very good. This is a very casual neighborhood bar and I really like the way they make anyone feel welcome and comfortable. A non-judgmental atmosphere where one can enjoy a beer or a cocktail and sit outside if the weather is nice. I have not been here when they have live music or karaoke but they do have both. It looks like a good venue for it. I like the Bruce Springsteen referencing in their merchandise logo . The bartender served us quickly and was polite.”
“Friendly service and cold drinks at a good price! We always sit at the bar - friendly bartender. The food is good and generous. The salsa is great. The chips are thin and crispy, the way we like them. We enjoy going!”
“Best bar in Conifer! Friendly crowd and great bartenders. Fun events. They have new pizza selection through Rocky Mountain pizza. They have a happy hour and $1 off beers during Broncos and Aves game. Great place to spend time and meet the locals!”
“Food was overall delicious. Everything was met to our standards. However, there was a little mix up in our order and they brought us a different pizza but managment fixed the situation in time. If your out of town and love a oven baked pizza this is your place!!! Highly recommend. The vibes are good too.”
“GREAT food every time we have been in. Service is great but at busy times the wait can be a little long but their staff is always pleasant and accommodating. The noise level can be high at times but nothing unusual as it is a sports bar and there are multiple TVs for your viewing pleasure and on occasion there is live music by an amazing local artist. We usually come here about once a week.”
“I used to go here more frequently, but there was a short time when they did not have vegan flavors - or so I was told - so I had not been in for a while. I went in the other day to drop something off for an employee and was stoked to see that they had the Vegan Salty Cookie ice cream again! The girl behind the counter was super sweet and made sure that I got my money's worth!Even just passing by, the smell of the fresh waffle cones being made wafts through and tantalizes your senses. When it's warm out, there is a bench and the wall along the sidewalk makes for a good seat to enjoy your ice cream. During the winter and chillier times, there are a few seats inside...Or you can get a pre-packaged pint to take home to enjoy when you are snuggled in front of your fireplace.”
“This place is amazing. I've been getting pizza here about once a month for eight years. The family sized stuffed pizzas are actually large enough to feed a family! And the Tuesday pizza deals are amazing. I challenge you to find pizza at a similar price and quality anywhere else.”
“The go-to restaurant in Conifer for breakfast and brunch! Never been once where this place wasn't packed! Huge portions at surprisingly reasonable prices, despite Bidenomics.”
“We had a party of 9 people. The menu was enormous and we all loved our food. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The decorations were authentic, and a nice gentleman came to play guitar and sing songs for us in Spanish. I'm a vegetarian, and I was excited to see that there was an entire section of vegetarian choices (probably about 10 options), instead of the typical 1-3 options that I've seen at many restaurants. We all said we'd love to go back there sometime.”
“Got the iced "Bear With Me" with oat milk and the mini cinnamon sugar donuts. Waited for over 10 minutes in a short line.. but whatever they did to the coffee in that amount of time was well worth the wait - it was SO good that I'll be driving 45+ minute drive out here again ASAP to have another!! My only possible complaints would be the slightly long wait and that their large is only 20 oz, smaller than a Starbucks venti, when I would've happily drank 50+ oz LOL”
“They were very busy today,. Placed a mobile order, waited a while, BUT the crew rocked without appearing to be under pressure or stressed out! Great work team!”
“Colorado has absolutely mastered the breakfast burrito and this spot is one of the greats. That green chili sauce is so flavorful but at the same time not overwhelming. The owners are also incredibly dog friendly, which I always love to see. If you’re passing through Conifer and need a quick bite, this is the spot.”
“Ordered the iced vanilla chai which was delicious, however I wanted to highlight the customer service at this location. The young man who took my order was extremely lively and welcoming. I told him it was my first time and he made a huge deal about it and treated me so nicely. He joked, made recommendations and made sure to repeat my order back. I would visit again just for the customer service!”
“I was impressed! We got the pad Thai and spring rolls, my husband enjoyed it so much he called and told them so. We did carry out but the inside looked clean and friendly.”
“Clean and fast service sandwich was deliciousPrices gone up just like everything elseParking: Subway is in a loaf and jug store, so parking is minimal at certain timesWheelchair accessibility: They have this easy to get in its right up front by the entrance door”
“Service was prompt and courteous. Food was very good. Neither over nor under spiced. My wife had General Tsao chicken, and you know when you bite in to a piece of meat and taste the breading more than the meat? Well it was not like that at all, again seasoned just right. Thanks for the great food.”
