Food was good but the service was super slow. Waited 20 minutes after food and drinks were gone for the bill and they weren't even that busy.

Great stop between Deckers and US-285. Very friendly staff, full bar, food was awesome! In-laws area in town and went for a drive in the mountains and this place was just right.

My family and I had dinner at Zoka’s yesterday evening and I’ve never felt more unwelcome and more uncomfortable at a restaurant before. I’m a Colorado native who grew up in Pine. It had been over 20 years since I had been back to Pine and my family and I thought that it would be very commemorative to take our fall pictures together on the 13 year anniversary of my dad’s passing. He was a Navy veteran who loved living in Pine so as a way to honor his memory we chose to eat at a restaurant in Pine and that’s why we chose Zoka’s. When my son and I walked up to the host stand I said, “Hi, we’re a party of 4 and a dog. Could we sit on your deck please?” The man standing at the host counter looked extremely annoyed, angry, and almost disappointed that we were there. He mumbled something under his breath and then proceeded to drop an F bomb in front of my 12 year old and I. My son and I instantly felt uncomfortable and I considered leaving but we were hungry and it was symbolic for us to be in Pine so we stayed. We followed him to the tables outside and in a very sarcastic and rude tone, he said, “Wait, I have to make magic out here” and he aggressively shoved two tables together and slammed down two extra chairs on the floor. I later found out this man is the owner of the restaurant! Our waitress was absolutely fantastic and we received 5-star service from her. She was kind, lovely, and very attentive. After we paid our bill, my husband mentioned to her how poorly my son and I had been greeted at the host stand and she apologized profusely on his behalf and said they had been slammed all day. My husband was a restaurant GM for 20 years and he knows exactly what it’s like to run a busy restaurant on the weekends. But no matter how busy and stressed you are, you never take your frustrations out on your customers…And you should certainly never be customer-facing if you’re feeling angry and annoyed. We obviously will not be recommending or returning to Zoka’s and the only thing I would suggest if you’re considering dining here is perhaps avoid this restaurant on the weekends to prevent yourself from experiencing the same unwelcome atmosphere that we did. The family who was dining next to us also felt extremely uncomfortable and we heard them say out loud that they got a “Just grab your food go” vibe from the owner. I do want to conclude by reiterating that we received fantastic service from our waitress who seemed genuinely sad and unapologetic that we had been treated so poorly by the owner.

I've been eating at Zokas as long as they've been in existence. I've always loved the remote location, good service and quality food. It's a great destination when I'm on my motorcycle. 🥰

Whatever gentleman just answered the phone was completely useless and had awful customer service. As a first time guest in that area I wouldn’t even stop to eat here because of him. Do better!

Wonderful rustic with a modern touch restaurant, with friendly happy staff and great food. The crab patty is very good, a Maryland flavor in the middle of the Colorado Rockies.

Spend your money elsewhere if you can. Servers were good, owner is a terrible excuse for a human being with that being the nicest thing I could say about him
