Ate here 2 times during our trip! amazing food! Desserts are fabulous and the setting is spectacular! Must stop if you are passing through.
We had baked salmon, eggplant parmigiana, beef rolatini, and Fra Diavala! Outstanding chianti and dessert! How can food be this good? Owners Penny and Frank Grimo checked on us during the meal and waitress Molly was wonderful. Then we learned the 36 year restaurant would close in Sept. if you have been here get back before Sept 4 and if you have make your reservation NOW
Grimo’s food flavor truly amazing authentic Italian food. Service is phenomenal make sure you get reservations in advance. Truly worth the trip
I was told they will probably be closing soon. If you want some great Italian food go there now and you will be glad you did.
Best Italian food I've had in ages! Sort f don’t want to post this because it’s already very popular! Best to call for a reservation. Worth every penny!
What a rip-off...i ordered shimp, a salad, potato... $22.00; I got a bowl with 3 shrimp in it, small potato, lite salad...will NEVER go back there again!!
This place does truly have good food and great service, if you are in the area don't pass up on some good food
We ordered in as we had our dog with us and they do not have patio seating. The food was hot and fresh and the staff very friendly. The veal Marsala was excellent as was the fettuccine Alfredo. The piece de resistance was the cannoli for dessert - simply divine, the best we have ever had and the tiramisu was a close second.
some of the best Italian food I've ever had.
Awesome good and service! The atmosphere is perfect too! Very cozy!

We went for our 37th anniversary dinner on a recommendation from a friend. We were not disappointed. My wife had the house special cannelloni, (specials are identified by a green box on the menu), and it was great. I had eggplant and it was wonderful too. Both came with a side of spaghetti, an excellent hardy minestrone soup, a salad and of course Italian bread with garlic butter on the side. The Reserva Chianti paired well with the meal. For dessert an excellent Lemon mascarpone berry cake. The portions were just right also. The staff was great and we look forward to coming back. My apologies for not taking pics of the meals. We were hungry….. here is the dessert
Wow! Great Italian in this small town. I had baked ziti which I really enjoyed.
This place is SO quaint and the food and service is wonderful. Very friendly staff.
We traveled from Rapid City, SD to Durango Co. stopping to eat and stay along the way. The motel clerk referred us to another near by place but the prices were high and nothing listed we wanted to eat! We drove around and found this American-Italian restaurant. We was welcomed by the staff and had an outstanding meal at a very reasonable price. Sometimes it is best to look around the town for a place to eat and not always take the advice of the motel clerk! At other stops along our way we followed the motel clerk's advice and did not get the best meal or price! This place had to cut their hours due to lack of staff but the staff working went above and beyond their duties!
We loved this restaurant. We will be back. Excellent food, lovely server, authentic feeling and tasting, Italian food.
