The vegetables are super fresh and clean, and for me, as someone who is sensitive to noise, the atmosphere is perfect, calms and serene. “On a road trip, and the location was perfect for filling up the car and grabbing some brunch.

FOOD: Mild, tomato-tasting salsa with the complementary chips. The ladies split the chilaquiles, and declared them excellent. The guys had the chorizo breakfast burrito, which was tasty, but with a bit too much cheese and a bit too much chorizo for the mix (which may be just my taste). The green chili served over the burrito was quite nice.

SERVICE: Tony (I presume) was friendly and helpful. Service was a little slow -- he seemed to be juggling a lot -- but we weren't in a great hurry.

AMBIANCE: It's not posh. Based on the sign, it's been there for decades. But it's clean and straightforward.

NET-NET: Good food, decent surroundings and service. If opportunity presents, we'll definitely be back.”

“We stopped at Wild Mountain Cafe while driving through town after a football camp at Western University, and it ended up being the perfect little reset for both of us. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of personality. You can tell this place was created with intention. The coffee was incredible. Smooth, rich, and exactly what we needed after a long day. Truly some of the best coffee I’ve had in a long time. Every sip was just that good. And the food options were just as impressive. Fresh, thoughtful, and perfect whether you’re grabbing something quick or staying awhile. What stood out most, though, was how this place makes you feel. It’s not just a coffee shop. It’s a space where you can slow down, catch your breath, and enjoy the moment with the people you love. We’re so grateful we found this spot. It turned a simple stop into a really special memory. 🩷”

“I have family friends in Salida, CO and was visiting in June. Mountain Phoenix coffee was recommended to me and I can honestly say I've never tasted anything like it! It is full-bodied and has layered notes that elevates it from the average one-note coffee. I'm back East now and have it shipped because I haven't found another coffee bean that tastes the same. “The food is great. Been here 3x and everytime the food is on point. Tonight was my daughters birthday so we decided to come to amicas for some delicious food. We got just that. But the service wasnt as good as the food, and not even from our server. She was wonderful, especially to the kids. But the bartender, who has never served us, followed us out of the restaurant to tell us to never come back on her assumption that we didnt tip. She said that my husband (who has never been to amicas without me) has caused issues before and she thought we didnt tip. We have never had issues before.... & we left a $20 bill on the table for a tip on a 79$ tab. 18% was suggested at 16$. We gave her a little over 25%, so im not sure where she had the right to say anything to us to ruin our experience when we didnt even know who she was either.😔”
