Walked in on a whim because I knew my 4 year old needed to eat something. I figured it would either be fantastic food or it would at least stop the whining. It was amazing. We walked in and were greeted warmly, the food was amazing and my son was happily full. Highly recommend making the stop if you're in the area or driving through.
Tony is your waiter and cashier. He is very friendly. His wife is in the back and does all the cooking. Food and prices are great. We stop there for lunch every time we travel from home in Durango to the front range. Tony said he and his wife opened the restaurant 21 years ago. They've always done everything themselves with no employees. I recommend this place to everyone I talk to that's traveling through Poncho Springs.
Great food at a good price. Maitre'e/waiter/cashier was friendly and efficient. Very quick service. The place to stop when driving through.
