We had a long day and didn't get to eat anything yet. We both wanted breakfast so we came to the hen house. Everything on both our plates was hot, fresh and so delicious! I can't say for the lunch or dinner plates but I am definitely going back before I head home.

Expected more from the green chili being located in chili country.

We just ate here and I had the hamburger steak, eggs, hash browns and rye toast. This was THE BEST BREAKFAST I'VE EVER ATE! I'm not exaggerating when I say the eggs were cooked to perfection! The hash browns were golden and delicious. The hamburger steak was seasoned and savory. The prices are very reasonable and affordable. The staff was very friendly and prompt. The establishment was clean and happy. I'm so glad that we decided to eat here this morning and I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Was recommended this place by our Airbnb host. The bacon was so thick and crispy, just like I like it! Huge pancake! The service was friendly and fast

Went in for dinner. I had fried chicken. When it came out, I thought I'd probably be taking some home, but after I got all the breading pulled off, there was little enough meat that I ate it all (leg and thigh). It was tasty. Sides were a dinner salad--it was great!--and green beans that were right- out-of-a-can flavorless. My husband had pork chops and says he wouldn't be ordering those again. He thought they were undercooked. The two guys we were with had breakfast, and it looked pretty good (and they said it tasted good as well.)

The hen house has friendly staff, very quick service to the table, and reasonably priced breakfast options. The biscuits and gravy with eggs was exactly what you'd get from your mother's kitchen on a Saturday morning.

Best breakfast or lunch in Pueblo.
The breakfast burrito is the best I've had. The fried chicken is like home cooking, really good big pieces.

The food was basic and pretty expensive for just ham and french toast.

My spouse and I had a very interesting experience. We went early on a Sunday morning and were the only folks eating. Maybe that is due to the not friendly waitress who wouldn’t even make eye contact with us and seemed very much like she did not want to be there. The food came out quick but it was very bland. Won’t be back, don’t recommend.
