The food's actually pretty bad compared to other courses in Pueblo. It's okay enough to eat wash it down and lift your favorite beer but it is not a place I would actually go to my way to eat. Wait staff is always really nice and friendly and atmosphere is actually pretty good as well lot of older golfers sharing
It's hard to find a bad slopper in Pueblo, and there is nothing wrong with the one at AJ's. The green chili was quite good. The Philly cheesesteak was just okay, but that's because it was ordered with turkey instead of beef.
This place is a hidden gem. Not only do they have one of the few outdoor, covered dining patios in Pueblo, but the location offers a unique view. You can see most of the City of Pueblo, as well as Pike's Peak and the Wet Mountains. Service was excellent and cheerful. We split a roast beef goat hiller with a side of onion rings and draft beer. It was apparent that the food was made to order and absolutely fresh. The hiller was killer and the rings perfect. We will be back....
