Tried this place for the first time after seeing a number of positive reviews. I went through the drive-thru, which was a challenge in itself—the parking lot is in such poor condition, you’d think you need a 4-wheel drive just to make it through.
I ordered six tamales at $2.50 each, and I can honestly say they were the worst I’ve ever had. There was no filling at all—just solid, flavorless masa. Not a shred of meat, not a hint of seasoning—just heat and disappointment. They were completely inedible and ended up in the trash.
That was the worst $16 I’ve spent in a long time. I won’t be going back, and I absolutely do not recommend this place.

I feel really bad because the person working and the service was really great, but the food was so subpar. I ordered a pollo asado burrito , but i didn’t realize it would literally just be a little bit of chicken and some salsa - no rice , cheese, or beans or anything. It was pretty cold and runny with sauce when i picked it up, but i had already left. it was 10 dollars, which for a normal burrito would have been fine but for what i got was very overpriced. Perhaps i should have clarified or ordered something else, but i figured i shouldn’t have to clarity what comes in it at a mexican place:/
