Fantastic location on the Riverwalk with this converted jailhouse, delicious food served quickly, awesome atmosphere, and great service . We ordered the Soft pretzels with cheese and spicy mustard, lollipop chicken drumsticks, chips and salsa, salmon, all-American burger, and the very unique and delicious Pueblo Slopper! There were additional items that we ordered which I don’t remember, but the others in our party of 6 enjoyed every single item. Our server was awesome! Attentive, friendly, and efficient! Highly recommended!
Enjoy the fantastic food in a perfect venue with amazing service and friendly patrons ( locals and visitors) and stroll the Riverwalk!
Enjoy the wonderful hospitality of the great folks of Pueblo!

Great atmosphere, excellent customer service, delicious food. I consider myself a beer snob and their Hazy IPA is absolutely amazing.

Next level decks and outdoor areas by the iconic Riverwalk. Rocky Mountain IPA needs a Gold medal rating. Always a good time and terrific atmosphere!

I want an oompa loompa.

Don't let the fine building and close proximity to the river walk fool you. They have insane wait time s for a mostly empty restaurant. One star for the service. I tried to make a reservation but they have a silly 4 hour reservation leadtime. I guess I was only 3 hours out when I called. Finally sat after an hour 15 wait time. The waitress was apathetic and had no hustle. The food, when it came was ok, but I just can't get over the poor service. My advice is to look elsewhere.

It's hard to beat the atmosphere, creek out back live music, and everyone had lots of fun. The staff was amazing. Simply a good good good time place.

Got the Asian lettuce wraps - was served a plate full of unassembled ingredients and it was just a really impractical, badly-thought out dining experience. For $16 it was a total rip off and unfilling meal that was embarrassing to try and eat as intended.

Got the "Asian lettuce wraps". Was served with all the ingredients for these separately - with some very paltry looking lettuce leaves that were not fit for the job- it was just really poorly thought out and impractical as a dish if decent tasting. So yeah, don't order that if you expect a fully assembled dish- honestly not worth for $16 my poor bf lol. Drinks were good tho.

This place is definitely worth the visit! If I lived in the area, this would be my go to place. Food was fantastic, friendly service, and a super cool atmosphere being right at the edge of the Downtown Riverwalk. Definitely recommend. Had the Blistered Shishito Peppers for an appetizer, which were amazing, and the Prime Dip along with a couple of the Haus Lagers.

Great beers and bar and/or outdoor seating. Delicious vegan burger or slopper and spicy vegan green chile.

my partner and i visit pueblo once or twice a year when my hockey team and the team he coaches play here. he usually goes to gray’s coors tavern (with no vegan options) for a “slopper,” essentially an open-face smashburger smothered in green chile with onions on top. they closed early due to being slow, so we checked out brues alehouse tavern. they have a vegan slopper AND a vegan breakfast slopper option! the downside: they don’t include hours on their sunday menu. we thought we were ordering a vegan breakfast slopper for me and a regular breakfast slopper for him, but they charged us an extra $14 for two eggs for him and the just egg on mine, with no mention of it from the server. the portions were incredibly generous (i couldn’t even eat half!), and it was so delicious! great beers, too! service was wonderful, except for the surprise on the fill and the server snatching the check from us at the end. bonus: they use vegan bloody mary mix! This brewhouse is really nice inside and very clean. The lighting, music and temperature were perfect. Awesome atmosphere.
Our waitress was AWESOME and on top of everything we needed. My husband had the Brues Especial and loved it.
The food is another story. We had fried pickles and they were REALLY good. But my husband ordered the green chili slopper and neither of us were impressed. For a town that is known for green chiles, this had very little spice, which was disappointing.
I had the macaroni and cheese with green chile (was the special) and it also wasn’t very impressive. It definitely needed lots of salt and pepper to have flavor.
We then ordered the Cookie Dough Cheesecake. It was very authentic and VERY rich, but good.
So overall, we would definitely go back. It’s just a matter of finding the right thing to order there.

If you're visiting or are a local in Pueblo, CO. this is an amazing place to visit. They have all kinds of yummy food!! I had some salmon with veggies, it was delicious!!
Some are sitting inside and outside.
I love sitting outside because I can see the river, and they also have a round sitting by the fire pits. I love it!! Customer service is excellent. I recommend it to anyone!!
