Terrible experience.
Friends patronize Jorge’s, often so
recommended and this was our hope;

We ordered chips and salsa which never came. We figured we would munch waiting for food and sip on one of their famous margaritas. Which also, Never came. One friend had a question about the cheese they use, which was never answered. Our food came and while the tacos were good, the rice was cold. We canceled the chips n salsa since our food came. By the time our drinks came we were mostly finished with the food. The wait person said nothing about being forgotten except, ‘Well I hope you smile now’ The margaritas were very strong, and our food about gone so we asked the just take the margaritas away. We wanted to relax and sip waiting for our food and not have full drinks to gulp down after it was all gone.
The owner came out and told us we would pay $17 for Each drink regardless whether we drank it or not. We were offered absolutely NOTHING in terms of any compensation for the food that didn’t show, or the cold rice, and the very late overly strong drinks.
Bad business. You trade a little compensation for terrible service for a repeat
Customer, and a very bad review. You should take care of your mistakes and treat your customers with respect.
Never again! Never. ! Ruined our girls night out.

So I would like to know how they justify 50 cents worth of cheese turning into 6 dollars if you look at the Menu it says cheese already comes inside the Jorges Burrito as in included in the original price so my Wife ordered the Jorges Burrito with the cheese inside which should have been menu price then I ordered my Jorges Burrito with cheese on top the Menu clearly states that if you want cheese on top of your burrito it's 50 additional cents it also states that if you want cheese on your entire plate which means the entire plate so that would mean cheese on top of your beans or your rice along with the burrito that comes on the same plate that it's a additional 1.50 so anyways I asked for cheese on top of my burrito only for the additional 50 cents which they forgot to put on my burrito so the waiter brought me a small side of cold cheese once I reminded him which I placed on my burrito only so I was expecting a upcharge of 50 cents anyways when we got our bill they added 6 dollars 3 bucks each to the bill for cheese I told the waiter the bill was wrong since I was the only one who asked for cheese on top of my burrito for 50 cents extra so then he looks at the menu and says oh I see I'll fix it then comes back with a new bill charging 3 dollars for the 50 cents worth of cheese then again I explained that my wife's burrito was suppose to be menu price since cheese is already included in the burrito and mine was only suppose to be 50 cents extra since I only got cheese on top of my burrito for 50 extra cents not the entire plate which would have been a 1,50 if so and that my cheese was a cold side of cheese by the way and wasn't even melted onto my burrito as originally ordered anyways he said he fixed the ticket as much as he was able and that I I owed them 3 dollars for that cheese I then stated ok that's fine but I'm taking 3 dollars out of your tip for it which I did because I would have tipped 7 but I tipped 4 bucks instead I just want it to be known that I was charged 3 dollars for my 50 cents worth of cheese and that before the so called ticket correction they were trying to charge me 6 dollars for the 50 cents worth of cheese the whole staff seems to have a communication barrier ,built into their heads and they need to learn and study what the menu states a bit more next time this happens they are only getting 50 cents for the cheese as the menu states on the Jorges Burrito and if they aren't satisfied with that they will need to call the police and I will patiently sit and wait for them however today I didn't have time to settle it that way so I paid the 3 bucks and shorted the ignorant waiter on his tip to make up for his lack of knowledge ok rant over!!!

Jorge has the absolute best posole if you’re looking for any posole, you should go to Jorge. Also, they have the best service and it’s a very family friendly restaurant that you could bring any family too and have an amazing time. I’m super grateful to have in my city.
Definitely recommend trying the chicken enchiladas and the posole and the Menudo.

Our waiter was great, however the food took a minute to come out and when it did, mine was wrong. They offered to make it again until I realized that my whole order was wrong. It took another 15 min to get the right food and by that time, I was ready to leave.
We had a side of chili and the bowl that it came in was broken/ chipped. We asked to speak with the Mgr, she came over and asked if there was something wrong....
We told her and when we showed her the cup, she looked at us like what was wrong with that....
I came into town to visit family and was looking forward to eating here, used to be one of my favorite places, it has changed a lot.

The chicken tacos that I took home that they remade because they were wrong well I went to eat them when I got home and the chicken was SPOILED!!!!!
The worst taste ever! Jorges DO BETTER!

As a long time patron of Jorge’s, I have generally enjoyed their food. However, my recent experience was disappointing. I ordered chorizo tacos, and the meat was spoiled. After just two bites, I felt so unwell that I had to vomit. I even had others taste/smell them to confirm, and they agreed that the chorizo was bad.

When I brought this to the attention of the waitress, she acknowledged the issue and offered a simple apology. While I appreciate the gesture, I was surprised that no compensation was offered for such a serious mistake. I ended up ordering chicken tacos, which were fine, but it took me about 30 minutes to recover from the initial appetite before I could eat again.

I understand that mistakes can happen, but the lack of a more considerate response was disappointing, especially after such an unpleasant experience. I hope this was an isolated incident, but I would urge caution when ordering.

Tried making a to go order and they said okay give them one moment. I was left on hold for over 25 minutes, only for them to pick the phone up and pretend not to hear us say hello, and proceed to hang up. Called back to be put on hold again, just for them to say they're not doing to go orders for the night. Something that COULD HAVE been mentioned from the very first call instead of wasting over 30 minutes. Especially if you're so short staffed, why waste more time

I ordered a take out order. I’ve ordered the same food for over 20 years and they couldn’t get it right. I had missing food and it was cold. I’m so glad I checked my order in the car because I would’ve had to drive another fifteen minutes to fix it. When I returned to the restaurant to fix my order, I was laughed at by the staff and they acted like I was in the wrong. I had to completely show what I ordered from the menu. Then I was not even communicated with to know what was the progress of my order replacement. I asked for the manger and was treated rudely and not even apologized to, nor suggesting a complimentary drink while I was waiting. I’ve been coming to this restaurant since before some of these 30 year old kids have been alive and the service was horrible!!

The food is good, but unless you don't want to talk to each other, this is the place for you. I found it hard to hear the other people at my table.
