If you want amazing tamales, this is your place! The tamales were some of the best I have ever eaten. They are good size and have a good amount of meat. The hot is hot ?, but great!!

Not so great. I was shocked to say the least, given all the positive reviews. We swung in off the interstate to grab some tamales and chile verde, for the trip home. It was close to close and they were out of the hot tamales. We received a bag of chilled tamales, to reheat and a quart of green chile (I can't help myself, if there's green chile on the menu, I have to try it). The tamales were simply not stellar. They were not very flavorful, nor spicy. Not the worst I've ever had, but not memorable. The chile verde was a big disappointment. It was literally just a tan colored watery broth, capped by a layer of grease, with some grey meat (ground pork?) sunk to the bottom of the container - we really had to dig to find any convincing evidence that an actual chile had been present in the batch. I'd love to give these tamales a second chance, but at $25/dozen - I'm not sure I'm eager to fund a repeat trip (and be this disappointed), especially given some of the other offerings in the immediate area. The staff was friendly enough and there were plenty of eager buyers, so maybe we just missed out on 'the good stuff'.

Tamales were very good. Filling was bomb, masa had a great flavor. It's just was a little bit too much, masa, was not wrapped very well.

The tamales were ok. The meat could use a bit more flavor, but all and all ok. Of course not as good as the ones we make at home ?but

We ordered the hot Tamales and they had a great ratio of meat and masa. They were not dry and had a really good flavor. I just wish they were a little more spicy.
