Five of us ate here last night 6pm, and our first time eating Indian food. We had Samosa which was very good, Cheese/chili Naan, excellent, and then shared Lamb Vindaloo, Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Misala and Chicken Curry all of which were excellent. Only thing I didn't care for was Pappadum which a friend had recommended and it was basically like a large tortilla chip. We'll definately come again.
As the only Indian restaurant I'm aware of in Pueblo, Mr. Tandoori does a decent job of representing its cuisine in the Steel City.
I am never disappointed by my meals here, and I look forward to trying something a little new or a little unusual each time I'm here. There are some standouts, like Saag Paneer, Aloo Gobi, and Lamb Korma. I also adore the atmosphere here, the soft lights and drapery makes it super cozy.
That said, Tandoori is definitely not the best tasting Indian I've had in the state, with some dishes tasting samey and safe - far from the worst still, and the naan is exceptional.
Worth checking out.

I stopped in for dinner, was seated on the patio I ordered my food. I was halfway through and my server came and said they were closing soon and I needed to pay .I said I was considering desert she said it was to late for them to provide me with dessert and that I would have to pay up. I thought that was strange but paid. I finished my meal to find out that I was locked out from the interior of the restaurant. I had to walk around the outside of the restaurant through the ally to the street I will never eat there again.
Used to love this place and still love the staff and atmosphere but the food has gone downhill since the last owner left

Don't believe the reviews. This is simply not Indian food. There are several excellent Indian restaurants in Colorado Springs but we were driving through Pueblo at dinner time, did a quick Google search and tried Mr. Tandoori. It was expensive and horrible. The food is certainly not Indian. I don't think there is a ethnicity that would take credit for it as it was very bland and flavorless. Got the chicken tikka masala because who could screw that up? Mr. Tandoori, that's who! It was tomato sauce with tough chicken breast over rice. The naan was pretty good but overall, I'd rather go to Arby's and I hate Arby's. There is absolutely no way that the five star reviews are not fake. In fact, after we left I read most of them out loud to Rocky and it is clear many are not real. I guess they can be purchased online nowadays, which explains our experience here. I wish Google would do something about it. We wasted $60. I will never trust Google reviews again.

Great place for really good Indian food. They serve a variety from different regions. The staff is great clean place. Priced well. Love the large family size portions. One of my favorite is the vegetable samosa.

Fantastic service and beautiful back patio area. Pueblo Chile wings were some of the best Asian-fusion wings I’ve ever had, and the lamb vindaloo was amazing as well. An outstanding restaurant in our community that doesn’t get enough appreciation!

Restaurantji Recommends
Good food, very good delivery, but I ordered biryani goat rice, it was good but the amount of meat was very little, there was a lot of rice, my recommendation: don't make so much quantity, make less but more proportional.

This is the second time being disappointed by Mr. Tandooris. In this sweltering box of a restaurant, I was forced to wait after the food was supposedly done because they ran out of garlic and had to ask if plain Naan was okay, (never mentioning the price reduction after already having paid) only to finally receive a grouping of items that wasn't what I ordered. I order a half gallon of cold Chai concentrate, and was given two glass containers of HOT, prepared Chai, with dairy milk, something that was explicitly stated NOT to be included, as well as an ingredient which brings down the monetary value of the product. I left the unwanted items before they could inconvenience me further. 100 dollars down the drain. Please God someone create another Indian restaurant.

The food flavor wise is not bad. Price feels too high for the quality of the food.
The food feels like it was missing on basic ingredients. I personally default to Chicken Tikka Masala because is a very particular flavor and in my personal opinion they missed the mark. Not enough cream, the sauce came out red it felt more like tomato paste and sugar. Garlic Naan was good, had a really nice touch of butter and garlic flavor, really hard to miss the point there. The rice, I'm used to just white basmati rice, they had added saffron to it, it was a nice touch. Overall was good experience but wouldn't recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala as it missed the mark on the creamyness.
