If you like a bar where the locals stare at you, come on in! The food was good. There were multiple pool tables. The girl behind the bar was an 8 with a touch of crazy. That almost brings her to a 9. So, all in all. It's not a bad bar.

Stopped by there today as a stop on my personal "Slopper Tour", trying the restaurants listed in the Chieftan. I was not disappointed, from the very first forkfull, the chili was flavorful and just the right heat, but what got my attention was the burger itself, thick and flavorful. It was only after I was settling the check I noticed the double burger for 4 bucks more, that will be for my next visit, but I'll order extra chili which is much better than the other 3 in Pueblo I've sampled.

I like everything about this place. The food, atmosphere, service, prices. The bathroom kind of sucks now that I think about it but that’s probably it.It is a local bar and grill so don’t get too excited. Try the chicken nachos but skip the lettuce and guacamole, sub nacho cheese for shredded, and get a pitcher. Your welcome.

First of all I travel all over the country. When you travel as much as I do you just hope to find somewhere like the Riverside. Places like this are very few and far between trust me. The food is very good bar food I was introduced to the slopper and green chili. I highly recommend this. It apparently is a thing in Pueblo. In my opinion it would be hard to beat the Riverside's. Prices are always on most of our minds as we go out and try to enjoy ourselves especially on weekends. The Riverside has very good prices on food and drinks compared to most of the places I go as I travel. Friday nights is karaoke night and the locals show up and it's about having a good time and they do. Saturday nights they have bands that are very good The best part about the Riverside Bar and grill though are Hanna, Carli , Steven , Teigen and the ones that work the kitchen. They are the best bartenders and cooks you could ask for. The locals that are there welcomed me and after just a few trips knew me by name and treated me as one of them. Trust me if you are in Pueblo or traveling through looking for somewhere to go have a meal and or a drink, you can't find much better.

Charging $5 cover charge which is fine, my friend (that doesn't drink) came to pick me up the OWNER wouldn't let them sit inside to wait while I finished my drink, wanted to charge the cover charge for 30 minutes or less! If my friend was staying longer than we would have paid...I spent $57.00 for food other people I was with spent ALOT of money also!! Poor Service and hard up for a Measly $5.00!!!!!

I had lots of fun with no drama.. I took off a star for service because they need 2 bartenders on shift. They only have one and they stay pretty toasted and forget about people a lot. Food is spectacular for pueblo food, and I love eating there over most places.. just when you're there.. remember to be patient.. it may take a while.
