Don’t let the looks fool you, one of the best places in town. Not a thing to complain about. Everything is five stars here, literally everything and everyone. Everything you could need, nothing you don’t. The portion, quality, and flavor would have you thinking you’re someplace far more costly. It’s easy to see there is care for the community and the people they serve. An example I wish more would follow. Profits can be made without greed and dishonesty. I vote with my dollar, and vote for this place as often as is reasonable.

This place is amazing! Had to do some work In P-town and had heard about this place randomly from a lady at the hot springs. Wow! I had the rueben which was delicious on panini bread. The potato salad is, whew, just delicious. I went back for a second serving.
I grabbed a couple breakfast burritos for tomorrow. And some salsa jars to go. It sounds like you can't go wrong with anything you order. They close early so get there fast.
It also is like a small store. With fresh breads and frozen homemade meals. They have a lot to offer from small kitchens around their community.

The tall blonde that works there is rude. If she is there do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
I hope she finds a new job as she clearly doesn't like this one.

I ordered gift baskets for family and friends for Christmas. They are amazing - beautiful. The girls are so friendly and kind. I intend to order baskets in the future for gifts. I highly recommend Southwest Deli for food and gifts.

The food and service are usually very good, and the Deluxe Salad with mixed greens and all the toppings is normally worth the price. However, on October 10, 2025, in the late afternoon, it took about five minutes before anyone took my order I was the only one in waiting to order—not a major issue. I ordered the Deluxe Salad, but when it was ready, it was made entirely with iceberg lettuce instead of mixed greens. When I asked about it, the employee said, “Oh, we’re out.” It would have been appreciated if that had been mentioned when I placed the order, especially since there’s a big difference between mixed greens and iceberg lettuce—but no difference in the price I was charged.
