Really nice spot on the Riverwalk. We stayed in cell 1. Nice outside patio to sit and relax. Comfy bed, good AC and nice towels. Shower is rain type in a tub, but will be converted to a walk in which is great because hard to get in and out. Coffee is pouring over and I had my own grinds, which is recommend as the supplied were just avg. They should have better cream options, as was just creammate suger free vanilla. An interesting concept, for sure. Judy was nice as we got an early checkin. But not much of a live presence in the lobby.

This is my favorite place to stay, by far. Station is a themed boutique hotel sharing the former Pueblo city jail building with The Clink Lounge and Brues Alehouse. The three combined is a vacation in itself, but is also located on the Pueblo Riverwalk with shops and restaurants along a scenic easy walk. The hotel itself is fun and quirky with really nice people. This is a boutique hotel quirks included, so if you are the kind of person that prefers a soulless corporate experience, this probably isn't the hotel for you. Otherwise I would recommend experience this awesome little hotel!

I adore the unique and take the time to seek them. 10 stars in my book, super cool almost inclusive boutique hotel. Fantastic bed and pillows, cool night life bar and a nice restaurant, bakery and coffee bar.

Rooms: 5
Service: via text, responsive, no front desk attendant
Location: historic downtown Pueblo on the Riverwalk, great location
The Hotel: Reimagined old police station/jail. The rooms, or “cells” are themed to a jail with cheeky do not disturb hangers, and boutique style. The beds and pillows are super comfy. Personal robes.

Amenities: none. The Clink is advertised as a trendy bar but it was not open when we stayed there (Friday-Sunday). But the Brewhaus is downstairs and is fabulous. Try the fig and goat cheese burger–you won’t be sorry!

Take a stroll on the Riverwalk and you can easily walk to restaurants like B Street Cafe and Fuel and Iron (10-15 minutes). Free parking is across the street.

These are not cons but know this: it’s an old building…a jail. Hot water takes awhile to heat up, the temperature in the room is fixed at 72* F, there are no snack machines, no pool, the ice maker is a portable ice marker in the hall that will never make enough ice for 5 rooms, and we stayed in cell 5 so we could hear the music at the bar, however, it turned off by 10:30 every night. It wasn’t an issue.

Pros: This boutique hotel is nice. It’s unique. Right across the street from the music hall, easy access to cool and unique places to see and eat. Downtown Pueblo is clean and feels safe to walk at night. The Riverwalk hosts movies nights once a month.

This place is where I always have family stay when they come to town! It really helps them to see the greatness of our little town.

Fun hotel, loved the jail themed room.

I was there on a Friday night and there was a bit of intrusive noise from the bar next door. But it was more or less quiet from 1030pm.

The location next to the Riverwalk was really good. The Riverwalk was a lovely spot for an evening stroll, with lots of nightlife, families out walking about. Some pretty nice restaurants and bars with outdoor seating.

The Clink bar at the hotel was excellent.

The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in. I made a note of the mattress maker in case I can get one for my home.

Staff were good when you could locate them.

I would definitely recommend the hotel, especially as a romantic getaway or if you like a room with a theme.

I had Cell 2. It was great

Room was great, something different. No service, almost self serv.

Super cute hotel and the bed was the most comfortable bed that I have ever slept in. The room was clean and the added touched like the fireplace was nice. I would definitely stay again. I would agree with previous post that it was a little pricey and the photo of Cell 2 shows a bathtub (which was the main reason that I chose this room), but there was not actually a tub but a shower. This is why I am giving 4 starts instead of 5.

ABSOLUTELY NOT
The lounge is actually a night club that's open to the public. Not only is there music blasting until midnight there are troves of drunk people all through the halls taking photos causing a ruckus. I found it interesting that I had to enter a door code for access to the hotel but then had to fight through a crowd in the 'lobby' to obtain my room key. To the response of the owner, there are ear plugs in the room, but the night club is 50 feet away... The base carries through the building. I'll also add my biggest pet peeve is hearing occupants in other rooms urinating :| the walls are very thin. Very nice in room pour over coffee however no coffee is provided. Common Keurig in the hall but no k cups. A giant tub that does not function leads to an agility challenge to get into the shower, which is in the middle of the room with no door. Scalding hot water but open to the rest of the room so you're freezing. Room service cleaning begins at 730am so don't expect a relaxing time here. An unmanned front desk leaves no options for customer service. I wish I stayed at another hotel.

Great location to attend the convention center and to enjoy the Riverwalk. Rooms are well appointed and the sheets were amazingly comfy! The management is very friendly. And they have a pet friendly room, which is very hard to find in that vicinity.

I thought this was a WAY better hotel than just 2 stars. They provided a lot of amenities and it was very clean. I would highly recommend this cute hotel. It is small and the staff was very kind. Parking is free and it is connected not only to a craft cocktail bar with snacks/small bites, but also a great bar/restaurant. I really liked the hotel and the bed was oh so comfortable.
