If you are having trouble deciding between this and Gray’s, this is without question the better of the two. They know what they’re doing with the slopper and burgers and the food was out of this world amazing. Very friendly staff. Can’t wait to come back!

The food was absolute crap. I ordered a slopper and couldn't even eat it. The service sucked. And the food was beyond expensive. Trust me, it's not worth your money. And for cheaper you could probably do better at Coors down town.

I mean, it was terrible. Absolutely and unequivocally terrible. It quite literally tasted and looked like Great Value food. . Very poor quality ingredients. School cafeteria food is better, in my opinion, without a doubt. If you want good food go to Los Carnales. That's quality eats. If you want to spend a well inflated price for some astonishingly lackluster food then you will love this place.

Well, I've always loved a slopper from the Sunset. My boyfriend, son and I went and had dinner and of course as usual I get the slopper with fries. So excited I take my first bite, delicious! When I get to my second bite it tasted like spoiled meat. Couldn't stand the taste, I grab a napkin and spit it out. I tell my boyfriend it tastes spoiled. He takes a bite and says it tastes fine, so I take another bite and instantly get the same spoiled taste. I again spit it out. When our waitress came to the table I told her very nicely that I didn't want to make it a big deal I just wanted to let them know that my hamburger in the slopper tasted spoiled. She then went and had a conversation with I'm assuming the owner and came back with the bill and said she had taken it off the bill. I told her normally I would just pay for it and leave but I wanted to make sure they are aware of the situation and they might want to check their meat. She replied very rudely with "we get our meat fresh everyday so I don't understand what the problem is" and walked away. Needless to say I will never return to this restaurant, not only did she make me feel like it was my fault their meat was spoiled but they couldn't even apologize. I'm grateful they took it off my bill but it goes so much deeper than that. It makes me sad because I've always loved the sunset but when it comes down to it this is not ok. I got sick from eating just the few bites I did eat.

I can't believe you can still get a large draft beer in town for less than $5. What a bargain.

Green chili was the worst i,ve ever had. It was like eating water and flour. No flavor. Slopper was served in a bowl and it was like eating a bowl of mush.

Probably the best slopper in Pueblo. The service is terrible. Eat before you come because the food takes so long to get from the kitchen to your table that you'll be glad you ate first. After your meal is over prepare yourself for another long wait for the check.
