The staff were attentive and friendly. The fried mushrooms were great. Got the Senate, fries were good. The burger was tasteless and undercooked (not a fan and don't recommend). Will not get that burger again if I was to return.

Recently attended a Christmas party here. Food, drinks, and atmosphere were good, and backroom waitstaff was excellent. However, at the end of the evening, I stood at the bar for five minutes holding my wallet trying to cash out. There was no one in line in front of me, and the bar wasn't particularly busy. The younger male bartender walked past and blatantly ignored me at least once. With two people working behind the bar, I had to wait until the older bearded bartender...

I wanted to check this place out because of the historic building and location next to the Vail Hotel, so my wife and I visited on her birthday. I was impressed. Nice, casual atmosphere. The food was well-prepared with ample portions. The drink prices were quite reasonable. Kudos to the owner for not gouging on prices like so many other bar and grills in Pueblo have done. It was too cold to sit outside on the patio, but we have that on our list this coming summer. Highly recommend.
