A great place to go to increase your joy this holiday season. Most of the trees have lights on them bringing beauty to each visitor. On Friday through Sunday boat rides are available for a fee. The rides are calming very lifting of ones Christmas spirit. The ride is about 15 minutes so not too long for kids. I didn't have an Sea sickness or problems riding. A good group activity. When I attended there was a choir singing Christmas carols which made things more festive. The welcome center sells beverages and snacks. Coco was available.
Downtown Pueblo was a sweet surprise! Very clean downtown area, restaurants and vintage shops.
There are two river walks, the other is the Arkansas; the path is walking distance from downtown, with two pedestrian bridges.
It was cute. Don't go on a Monday, almost everything is closed
My favorite place to decompress.
Must own it
Peace and quiet!
Very nicely done, Pueblo!
Would not recommend making a special trip as my wife and I did today... she called twice in advance to verify that the gondolas would be operating today (Thurs, 7/11/24) and was told "Oh yes, they will certainly be operating between 12 & 8, and no reservation would be needed". This is because she wanted to ride them on our 15th anniversary, today, 7/11/24. We arrived and had some lunch, walked around a bit (saw the gondola parked under the bridge) and made our way to the boathouse to book a ride... only to have the two operators/employees tell us that:
1. Nah, the gondolas battery isn't charged, maybe later.
2. It's too windy, come back later. (It was 100°, and barely a breeze)
3. We can't book you, we are ALL going to lunch now, come back later.
Hmm, we did call in advance and it IS our anniversary, and nope. No ride for you go away.
Thanks for nothing, will never recommend this to anyone... because they really don't want your business anyway.
Besides, there is a giant spider web with spider attached to the gondola, which tells you when it may have last been used...
easy family walk along the river, some shops and restaurants along the way and ferry rental available.
Very well maintained! And it looks like it’s being expanded!

Loved it
Nicer and better maintained than any other Colorado city I've been to including Denver's Confluence Park, Golden's Clear Creek walk and even Vail. Also has several restraunts to eat outdoors along the canal.
One of the best things about Pueblo! It's a really great place to take a walk or have a nice lunch. Plenty of upscale eateries within walking distance and ample parking outside or in the garage complex nearby. Very kid friendly and lots of events are hosted there or in the vicinity
The only function in Pueblo County on 4th of July! So what is the rest of the county doing?
Very nice
