Our stay was amazing. Nice, quiet town with beautiful views. Very comfortable and clean rooms, delicious breakfast made with love. We felt so welcomed there. Andrew went above and beyond our expectations, was always helpful. I highly recommend Mine Shaft Inn!

We happened upon Jorden and Andrew (the owners) at The Enterprise in Rico and immediately hit it off. We were passing through having a divorce party/trip for my friend. We had planned to stay in Telluride but really didn't want the high cost. We decided to check out their place and we were not disappointed. They were friendly and so accommodating to our needs. The rooms and overall home is quite lovely and very clean. You can't go wrong with this gem. To top it off the people of Rico are so kind and fun! Thanks for a great experience Jorden and Andrew, we will be back!

Seriously, every morning, full breakfast cooked just for you. The coffee is the best in the area and on all day. Comfortable beds, and sitting areas with views. Rico is a treat also. Andrew and Jorden are the sweetest.

My husband and I were on an ice climibing trip in Ouray and decided to stay an extra night. We were going to stay in Telluride, but opted for Rico instead. This Inn is absolutely fantastic and you get way more for your money than you would anywhere in Telluride. We had the place to ourselves on a Sunday night. There is a comfortable common space with a couch, tv, fire and kitchen. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the entire Inn has so many interesting touches. I highly recommend a stay here!

This place is a little gem in the mountains. Also perfect location for Hot springs down the road. Will be coming back again soon. The staff was top notch with any needs.
Andrew and Jordan are amazing. Their sense of hospitality that they have is amazingly. I felt so welcome and at home. My bed was very comfortable, my room was beautiful. I hope they will have me back!

Stayed 4 days. Bed was excellent!! tasty fresh breakfast, hosts were extremely polite and very accommodating. Stored food and beer in the community fridge and had no issues. Enjoyed the historic architecture and hardware of the place. I will stay again.

We loved this beautiful home away from home in Rico. Its has charm, warmth and transports you in time - yet makes you feel comfortable. The room was beautifully decorated, spacious and the breakfasts were tasty and filling, the wood fired stoves keep the place cozy, the whole place is quiet, the guest kitchen has all the amenities. The hospitality of Andrew and Jordan who manage this place was the cherry on top. Always making sure we were comfortable and all our needs tended to while giving all their guests ample space. We loved our stay here so much that we turned our one night stay into a three night stay. Would definitely stay here when we in the Telluride area.

This very quaint hotel was such fun to stay in. Andrew was our host and he was attentive, friendly and helpful. We could see that he cared that our stay was pleasant. The wood-burning stove in the dining area gave just the right ambiance on a chilly morning.
