I had been driving all day and found myself in Rico, CO. I wanted to stop for a break. Had the best cup of coffee in my life. Friendly people. Nice little town. Now I want to find out if they sell and ship beans.
TLDR: Exceptional way to wake up in Rico and grab breakfast.
Atmosphere: I was welcomed by One by One All Day by the Shins. At my direct left entering the store, I could see what looked like some cozy booths filled with quilts and pillows. To my right was the store, with artwork, jewelry and some other merchandise/beauty products. I could see outside was also a meeting area, with a sign mentioning that dogs could be out there. One would be hard pressed to find, on the San Juan Skyway tour, a more hospital welcoming sit down for exceptional food and service. We walked into an environment full of people and positive energy. Somewhere else might have been 15-28 minutes,,, ours was out in 7 or less. You wan5 that experience that only happens in a small town? Here, at the Fireweed.
