This is a lovely little ice cream shop with cute decor. The lady behind the counter is sweet and very friendly! We drove from ouray just to have a scoop of the yummy ice cream. The salted caramel and the huckleberry are delicious!

This was our "Summer of the Chocolate Cherry Malt" and we savored a lot of them! From coast to coast and points in between, some were meh, a couple were downright bad, and a handful were fabulous. But none compared to the malted "Black Forest" shake we enjoyed at Cafe Ridgway! It was crafted with luxury ingredients and the greatest care -- and it knocked our socks of. It was so amazing, in fact, that we went back the next night for seconds. And as we enjoyed the last sips of that magical malt, we realized our quest was complete, and we could happily wind down a successful "Summer of the Chocolate Cherry Malt".

I got the Coconut Ube ice cream and it was creamy and delicious! As a Filipino I was very suprised to see ube ice cream in a small mountain town, and to hear that it’s popular. Definitely worth a stop?

Great visit to the Cafe Ridgway a La Mode! Stopped in to grab an ice cream and left with a huckleberry milkshake, which was great! It's wonderfully refreshing and indulgent without being overly heavy. This is definitely a must-try for anyone who appreciates a top-notch milkshake. Will definitely return when in the area again.

We had ice cream here today and loved it! I particularly wanted to give 5 stars to cancel out the weirdo reviews leaving low ratings. Some people just suck. The gentleman owner chatted it up with us and told us all about Ridgway and was super nice. We loved our ice cream too. I got to meet his dog later when walking by. Great small business, friendly service, and great ice cream! What more can you ask for?

Brought my family down from the mountains to have ice cream this Saturday afternoon, only to be greeted by a sign that said "be right back." We waited for quite a while because we had driven more than an hour to come and get ice cream, and a one-hour ride back home with kids who had been promised ice cream and didn't get any did not sound like fun. There was no time on the note, so there was no telling how long they had been gone. This was very disappointing for all of us. We don't mind spending an extra 40 minutes on the road to support a small, local business, but we ended up going to a corporate chain instead. None of us were happy with this outcome. Definitely won't risk our time with my family on this place again. If we are in town and someone happens to be there, we will give them another try.
