This was not a great experience. The enchiladas were greasy, I asked for no cheese and still got it, and my husband was told he could not have fajitas because they ran out of bell peppers. It was pretty expensive too!

Huge portions, good food. A bit pricey, but this is a tourist area and the portions were big. And $5 beers is perfectly fine.

This was a great place to grab dinner while camping near by. They were so kind and accommodating… we had our lab and he was allowed to lay next to the table.

My husband and I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, it really missed the mark. Our server seemed totally uninterested from the start—disengaged, unenthusiastic, and not at all focused on creating a good experience for us.

We’re both vegan, so we ordered off the vegetarian section and asked for no cheese. My husband got the vegetarian burrito, and I ordered the vegetarian enchiladas. When the food arrived, we were disappointed right away. The rice was overcooked and lukewarm, the beans had no flavor, and both dishes were filled with frozen mixed vegetables—peas, carrots, and green beans. Nothing tasted fresh, and those vegetables just didn’t work in the context of a Mexican meal.

To make things worse, the two meals were essentially identical—one wrapped in a flour tortilla, the other in corn tortillas. There was zero variety or creativity. The chips were stale and lacked salt, and honestly, everything we tried was just bland.

The bill came to $67 for two forgettable meals and subpar service. For that price, we expected a lot more care and quality.

This restaurant is a gem! The food is always hot and fresh. They have tasty sauces and the sopapillas are delicious! We travel to Ridgway/Ouray several times a year and make a point to stop here. If you’re looking for good Mexican food without any frills or gimmicks, try this place!

Slow service, mediocre food, chips/salsa extra charge. Veggie enchiladas consisted of frozen vegetables.

I ordered huevos ranchers and got two eggs over easy and a spoonful of black beans.
Por favor!

First time visitors. First, the food was good after we scraped off the clear stuff on the burrito. However, as a visual eater when ordering online the red sauce is actually red. When we picked up the food the “red” sauce was almost clear with pico mixed in. When we asked where was the red sauce we were told the clear stuff was the red sauce ….?….Did NOT look appetizing. For a $20 burrito The food should look like their online pictures but it doesn’t.
