It is his first time in this part of CO, visiting from Scotland. His only request was proper Mexican. We are eating Mexican every day. Taco Gnar is SO MUCH MORE THAN PROPER MEXICAN!!!
He has been to Michelin Star restaurants all over the world and took one bite of the Porto Mushroom taco and said, “JESUS CHRIST!!!This flavor palette rivals anything I have ever eaten. GOOD GOD!!!”
To pick a favorite is almost offensive so I’ll just say, JALAPEÑO CHEDDAR ELK OMG!!!

The food looks amazing, with really unique varieties of tacos! Beyond the unusual and beautiful tacos, they have standard drinks fare for a little bar, with some limited cocktails and a handful of local beers on tap. Unfortunately, the flavor of the tacos doesn't quite match the appearance. They're still very good, but some of the meats were overcooked, and the pork belly had clearly been made in advance and sitting for a while because it was tough and chewy.
Love everything about the place. All the food is delicious and always make a point to time passing through Ridgway with a meal.
