Great burger spot in Salida! They have a wide variety of options, I went with their version of a patty melt which was great. Their fries are excellent as well, and you get so many for such a good price. Definitely worth a stop in Salida!

Like almost every other place in salida:

1) overhyped
2) overpriced
3) employees not paid enough to afford their own products
4) mediocre taste

All these greedy boomer stores and restaurants need to get replaced by food trucks.

Really gone down in both quantity and quality the last few years, disappointing as it was a great institution.

The food is tasty, however it is a bit pricey for a burger place. The side of fries is huge. When we came in and stood in line we were ignored for at least 5 minutes. People were cooking & running food - they looked at us several times but never even said hello or that they would be with us shortly. It was an odd vibe. The food server was pleasant when she brought out the food. We have stopped here a couple of times driving from the Western Slope back to Denver.

We stopped by 50 Burger in Salida while waiting for an oil change, having spotted it on the drive in from Gunnison. It seemed like a good spot to grab lunch with the family.

The menu had plenty of tempting options, but I went with the Southwest Burger after hearing it was their special. I paired it with Garlic Parmesan fries, while my wife and son opted for salads, and our two youngest ordered from the kids' menu (a burger and chicken fingers).

My Southwest Burger was tasty, though a little messy. The real highlight, however, was the Garlic Parmesan fries - absolutely phenomenal! The portion was huge, easily enough for three people to share. My wife and son weren't thrilled with their salads, but the younger kids devoured their meals.

Overall, I’d definitely stop by again if we’re in the area. Next time, I’d skip the salads and try something else. I definitely recommend it, especially for the burgers and fries!

Not just your average burger joint. They have a wide menu selection. You must visit and experience this place. Not a lot to look at but looks do not matter with food this great.

It's such a great place to eat. The basket of fries is enough to feed 2 people. They also have brewery 🍺 on tap from various places. The shakes are yummy, too!😋
