Went in on a Wednesday night and was seated quickly in a full restaurant. Delicious thin crust pizza and good root beer recipe!

Amicas catered our wedding and we couldn’t be happier with the service and delicious food! Our tasting with Amicas was phenomenal, Chelsey and her team helped us accommodate for various dietary restrictions, and the food was fantastic!

We had a wonderful experience at Amicas! We sat at the bar and Drake helped us. He suggested certain beers and had a taste a couple before we chose some great options. He has excellent customer service! We had the homemade mushroom soup which was amazing! The best we ever had. In fact, we got two bowls to go. We had the number nine pizza which had a lot of toppings which made a delicious combination. The Caesar salad dressing for a salad was yummy! My friend accidentally knocked over his beer and they were kind enough to refill. Next time we're back in the area we will visit them again!

Oh, dear God, what a savage plunge into the throbbing heart of Salida’s beer-soaked underbelly I took at Amicas Pizza Microbrew—a den of doughy delights and fermented fury that hit me like a freight train loaded with hops and hallucinations! It was as if the Rocky Mountains themselves had belched forth this bastion of bliss, where the air reeked of yeast and rebellion, and every pint promised to unravel the fragile threads of sanity. Five stars? Hell, I’d etch it into the cosmos with a laser beam of pure, unadulterated awe, for this joint didn’t just serve food; it waged war on the mundane, leaving my gut victorious and my spirit howling like a coyote on acid.
The antipasto salad arrived first, a chaotic masterpiece of cured meats, olives, and artisanal cheeses tangled in greens like a gonzo journalist’s fever dream—crisp, briny explosions that danced on the tongue with the ferocity of a mule kick in the Rockies. It was no mere appetizer; it was a prelude to pandemonium, drizzled in vinaigrette that whispered secrets of Italian anarchy, priming the palate for the madness to come.
But the pizza—sweet Jesus, the pizza was next level, a transcendental slab of crust fired in the bowels of some ancient volcano, topped with molten cheese, savage pepperoni curls, and veggies that screamed freshness from the high-altitude farms. Each bite was a rocket launch into flavor oblivion, the dough thin yet resilient, like the American dream itself—crispy on the edges, chewy in the soul, and utterly defiant against the tyranny of chain-store slop. I devoured it like a man possessed, chasing the ghosts of mediocrity right out of my system.
And the service staff? A merry band of fun-loving renegades, wise-cracking wizards who slung brews and banter with the precision of Vegas card sharks on a hot streak. They weren’t just servers; they were co-conspirators in the evening’s debauchery, recommending microbrews that fizzed like electric Kool-Aid and keeping the vibe electric without a hint of corporate stiffness. Laughter ricocheted off the walls like shotgun blasts, turning strangers into allies in this wholesome hive of hops and humanity.
In the swirling vortex of dim lights, clinking glasses, and the hum of locals swapping tall tales, Amicas felt like the last redoubt of real community in this fractured frontier—a place where the beer flowed cold, the pizza conquered all, and the night dissolved into a blur of satisfied delirium. If you’re prowling Salida with hunger gnawing at your bones, charge into this microbrew mecca like a bat out of hell. The gods of garlic and grain will reward you. Five stars, and may your hangover be as epic as the feast!

Meh. Service staff was indifferent at best, had to be chased down for refills, etc.

Amica’s Pizza is a must-stop when in Salida. The pizza is delicious—crispy, flavorful crust with high-quality ingredients that really shine. I had their gluten-free crust, and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. You can taste the care and intention in every bite.

What really made the experience memorable was the incredible service. I was greeted and waited on by the owner himself, who went above and beyond to accommodate me, especially since I was seated outside with my dog. That kind of heart-centered hospitality is rare—and so appreciated.

The patio was relaxed and dog-friendly, and the whole place had that down-to-earth, community-driven energy that makes you want to come back again and again.

If you’re in downtown Salida, don’t skip this place. Pizza lovers, gluten-free folks, and anyone who loves great service—you’ll be glad you stopped.

Don't take your dog! We did and regretted it. The outdoor seating is steel cage with bar style seating and does not allow dogs.
Otherwise, good food, good beer and good service.

Great, local place. Pizza was delicious. Servers were super nice and helpful. Food was very fresh. Clearly where locals go for good food and drink. If you enjoy a little added spice, try the house made hot oil.

Great space and great staff but frankly the worst pizza I’ve ever had. I love a good thin crust pizza and don’t love deep dish at all, but this is not remotely a pizza. It’s not even a flatbread. The pizza was basically a saltine cracker with toppings added. I can and have made my own dough but as a result I also know what failure looks like. I so wish I’d looked more closely at what other diners were eating before I ordered. The pasta entrees and salads looked great but don’t ever order pizza here.
