This place has great food. I couldn't eat all my food so I brought it home. My food tasted even better ! Awesome place. Be careful, you can fill up on salsa and chips 🍟. Awesome 👌

This place is some of the best Mexican I’ve had in Colorado! The margaritas were on point! Dine with confidence

Amazing Mexican food with bold, authentic flavors and very generous portions. Everything came out fresh, hot, and clearly made with care. The flavors were spot-on, from perfectly seasoned meats to rich sauces and warm, comforting sides. Portions were more than satisfying—you definitely get your money’s worth here. Great food, good portions, and a place we’ll happily come back to again. 🌮✨

We had an amazing experience but when we were leaving we left a credit card. We went back and the hostess with two lip piercings was snotty and rude to us about it. Thank you to the manager who helped and got it for us but that hostess made us wait and told us she was too busy to find it. Then gave us a snotty and dirty look when we left. Overall experience was fine except for that hostess ruined our dining experience.

This place is amazing!!! The food is awesome and the horchata is to die for!!!
Super friendly and professional staff as well. This place is our go to Mexican food place in Salida!
Casa Calaca is our go-to favorite! The food is always delicious (get the Al Pastor tacos!!), margaritas one of the best in town (spicy marg is actually spicy) and the service consistently fast and friendly. They are also wonderful to our ornery 2 year old who can't sit still so throwing some extra love for that :)

Gave me food poisoning. My husband went in for a lunch break and also ended up getting sick.

The staff is all very friendly and the atmosphere is nice with the art work and decorations. The food was the unpleasant part the order came out in 4-5 mins and wasn’t even that hot. Everything tasted and looked like it came from a can. Authentic is definitely not this place. And the prices are a bit high for the quality of food as far as portion size it’s a more than reasonable amount of food.

I’ve been to probably hundreds of Mexican restaurants and this place had hands down the best service. We went two weeks in a row and were blown away both times. Very very good food. Spend your money here.

The wait was long but its not the main bit. Definitely the pricing is 20-30 and not $10-20
Few things are below $20 but the food was absolutely amazing and worth the price of $20

This place was packed on a Thursday evening, but the waitstaff was amazing keeping everything running on time.
I had the nachos, which were very good. Just one small issue: I ordered it with asada, and I really had to hunt for any meat in that dish. But the flavors were excellent.
