Eric is one of the best operators in the business. Have been getting great hamburgers from him since he had a trailer. As always. Absolutely the best burgers in Salida. Great staff. Would highly recommend you trying this place. You won’t be disappointed. Best thing about it is. He is a local that has created a great business.

From Wisconsin. Stopped in on our way back from Durango to Denver. Owner was super-chill with great energy and fun to talk to or just listen to if you enjoy people watching. The Cubano was so delicious, highly recommend.

For starters…the employees are awesome! They have a great vibe and energy. The cashier (I forgot his name) walked us through the menu. The burger was juicy and fresh and the fries are to die for! I would eat here just to get fries. The restrooms were clean and so was the restaurant. There were a few flies that annoyed me but I can imagine it is from people going in and out of the back door. Overall a great spot to grab lunch if you are ever in Salida.

We discovered this place by chance. We’ve been travelling in the US since 3 weeks and have tried quite a few burgers but this one… wow! The owner and staff are the friendliest people. From missouri and was driving through from a Hunt and stopped in here to grab a bite to eat. Hickory smoke burger and generous portion of fries were delicious. And can't wait to come back here !

if you’re thinking of a place to stop to get a bite to eat, this is your sign to pick this one! don’t usually leave google reviews but honestly, my partner and i had such a good experience here that i’m currently writing this in their bathroom. as two line cooks, we could taste the love and effort put into every menu item. you can tell that everyone who works here puts a lot of their soul into it. the owner was incredibly involved; running food, having genuine conversations with the guests, and helping out in the kitchen. if you amazing food made with tender love and care, with local and ethically sourced meats, this is the place. we surely left with the biggest smile on our faces
