An absolute grand slam 5 star restaurant. Get the fries, yeah yeah whatever get the fries. I have never in my life had fries that didn't need ANYTHING added. I am floored aka it slaps.
I got the gyro burger and again it needed nothing, it was delicious ?

The Crossroads is an absolute gem! Anytime I drive through Salida, I stop here. It can be challenging to find safe food while traveling if you have celiac, but it’s not at all challenging at The Crossroads. They are extremely knowledgeable about preventing cross contamination and take all the precautions you can even think of to prevent CC. On top of that, they have delicious food that you can tell is made with a lot of care and pride and from high quality ingredients. The owner is a joy to talk to and the vibe is fun and energetic.
Next time you’re in Salida or passing through, go here. You won’t regret it and you’ll wonder why you hadn’t come sooner.

The Crossroads Café owner is intentional about every aspect of the business; from purchasing only locally sourced and humanely raised meat, to thoughtfully considered recipes that deliver a HIGH vibration meal! The food, staff and atmosphere was perfect! We were just passing through Salida, but would purposefully plan a vacation around being able to visit them again!!!!

Met the owner, very cool, laid back, man. Excellent burgers fries and green chili. We very much enjoyed this meal while traveling through Colorado, heading to Durango.
This place was fantastic. Had it recommended for a while and finally went. My wife and I both got a burger and fries and they were great. The vibe inside is amazing with enthusiastic service and jams playing. I’m a big fan of authentic businesses, doing exactly what they want and trying to be the best they can. These folks are certainly that and it shows in the best way possible.
