Waited 15 minutes and not once did anyone come to the table to my order not even to offer me water. Ended up walking out.

I don’t normally like to blast restaurants here but this is absolutely criminal. This is 6oz of spinach dip that cost $13 and a wedge salad w chicken for $19. I understand rising food costs and where we live but this is an absolute joke to charge that for 6oz of spinach dip and a quarter of a wedge of iceberg lettuce with maybe half a breast of chicken. Never ever again. We spent over $50 plus tip for two of these sad salads and one dip.

Subpar fish and chips. Fish over cooked. Lobster queso sucks, chips soggy. Service was good.
Wouldn't recommend for sure!!!

The artichoke dip was delicious. The fish and chips were off the chain, along with, the wedge salad!!

Edited: Original poutine recipe is back! We’re so stoked as this is our favorite appetizer in town!

Everything else is always great. Their meat loaf is outstanding.

One of my favorite places to eat in Salida. If they have the Wagyu meatloaf, get it! So good. Every meal has been great.

Bar service was very friendly and the cocktails that we had were quite good. We were going to order dinner but opted not to after watching the very un-hygienic kitchen team sneezing, touching their faces, ears, hair, and not a latex glove in sight. Yeah we’re in a cool mountain town but seriously- some of these entrees are $40 plus.
Open kitchens are great- so long as you’re showcasing the right stuff. In this case, nope. We took our dinner order elsewhere, which sucks for the bar staff who could have had a much bigger tab from us.

I visited Salida for the first time, and we happened upon this fine establishment. The appetizers were amazing. The mussels were fantastic, and were served in an amazing sauce! The calamari were fried perfectly, and the artichoke dip was delicious. I wish I could’ve tried one of every appetizer. I split a veggie wrap with my wife and added bacon to my side (my wife is vegetarian). The service was also excellent, even on a super busy July 4th weekend. All in all we had a great dining experience!

Very disappointed in our visit today (7/5/2025). Was extremely excited to order the chicken fried chicken steak meal. First, no longer had the half portion. When my meal cam.out, mashed potatoes were cold, the chicken fried chicken was not even close. A processed flat chicken patty of some sort with bread crumbs on it...and to boot our waiter was unattentive and pushy with wanting to provide our ticket yo pay. We were not even finished with our meal, and he was trying to reach for our plates to clear the table.
Horrible experience. Won't return. This place used yo be our go to. Unfortunate!
