Nice coffee and cafe food shop. Good coffee and breakfast drinks. A half dozen or so table inside and lots of outdoor dining spaces, including stand up bars.

Completely unreliable service hours and poor customer service.

I don’t understand when you close. Your sign says 4pm but when I go in at 3pm the girl tells me they are out of food and she’s closing down, all the chairs are up and we can’t be there. I can see there is pre-made to-go food present right in the cooler. Surely you can make a coffee or tea but she says no.
Maybe she doesn’t understand how restaurants work? They are a little different than bars, who do last calls before closing. When the sign says you close at 4pm, you serve people til 4pm. Then you start cleaning up and people filter out. You then leave around 4:30 once you’ve close it down. It doesn’t mean you stop serving an hr early and force people out so you can walk out the door at 4pm. If you want to close early then adjust your hours accordingly. Be better!

Also, update your phone number please. If you don’t have a phone number then so be it, just know it’s inconvenient.
I’ll gladly update this post to be 5 stars once you understand people’s frustrations.

The Bandit Bowl was delicious!!! I forgot to take a picture.

Wow, the atmosphere, music, chaot, and breakfast burrito were all fantastic. I ate the Clyde burrito and was shocked at how tasty it was. If you're looking for a tasty way to start your day this place will do it.

Try their carrot cake, it’s the best one I’ve ever had! Also Kipp and the owner are so friendly!

The service and atmosphere was really good. Barista was knowledgeable about the drinks. Food selection was good and straight to the point. The biscuit and gravy were okay, gravy was a little watery. Burrito was filling but bland. For Colorado it’s a 4/5 on taste.

Posting pics of the menu since I had a hard time finding the most recent. Vegan biscuits and gravy was awesome! Get there early before they run out!

Great breakfast and lunch place. Great baked goods for gf, including chocolate zucchini bread and sometimes carrot cake that is to die for. I love the Mediterranean breakfast bowls as I'm a sucker for pesto. They have lovely hot Indian dishes for lunch.

The food is delightful! Wonderful breakfast burritos and smoothies.

Outdoor seating is great in the summer but not winter and indoor seats were all taken.

Food is also fairly expensive, $11 for a breakfast burrito plus more for salsa, but day-old pastries are cheap and delicious.

One of the best cafes I’ve been to!
The breakfast bowls were fantastic, they were out of burritos but excited to come back.
Nutella baklava was a 10
And the Mexican mocha cocoa was so goooood!

Also the server/cashier was way kind and friendly and helpful. He knew peoples names and was extremely cordial and generous.

Definitely a must if you are in town!

Bunny and Clyde’s is the perfect breakfast spot if you’re in Salida. Their breakfast burritos are fantastic, perfectly toasted on the outside and a great ratio of meat, eggs, cheese and potatoes. The biscuits and gravy were decent, just thought the gravy needed a little more seasoning. I also got a maple latte that was great. Service was perfect, they were so friendly, definitely a must stop!

The lack of pricing listed anywhere is honestly a huge turnoff for me. I went at 11:30am and they were no longer serving breakfast aside from burritos, so I got a burrito. For $11, I was given a foil wrapped burrito that had been sitting in the warmer all morning. The tortilla was soggy and I didn't find the burrito to be particularly enjoyable. Maybe it would've been good 4 hours prior, but it was well past the time when it should've been served.

I was also disappointed that the bathroom was out of soap and paper towels, even though they weren't very busy and the barista was just sitting on her phone.

The outside patio was nice. Overall, I just got kind of pretentious vibes and did not feel especially welcomed.

The guy who took our order was very nice but he forgot about us and I had to remind him I was waiting for our burritos, which were pre-made and in a warmer right next to him. The breakfast burritos were great and very filling and my husband said the coffee was very good. Salsa was also good. Would go back, in fact, this was our second time there.
