O.K., Quincy's has been a go to place for our family for literally 35 plus years, as they have owned property in the area, and the prices were right! But... that being said, this time the service was good, though it took quite some time to get your food, but the food was marginal. It was 'Prime Rib" night, and that was all you could order. The prime rib came wrapped in bacon, bu the guys had a hoot making fun of the 'bacon', as they said it could not have been real bacon. It looked like some other alien meat, altogether! The Prime Rib was decent, but nothing to write home about. At the end, the evening stop was good, because of all the laughs, and not the food. Had to sneak around the restaurant to steal a light bulb from another table, as ours was burned out. The end consensus was that the bacon came from someone's earlobe, and/or a Rocky Mountain Oyster sack.

The lady that approached us rudely asked us if we were familiar with the menu. As if we couldn’t afford it. Upon agreeing to what was available. She seated us. The waitress was not rude but acted inconvenienced. The food was good. To bad help sucked. Sincerely Catherine Martinez North Dakota

The prix fixe menu of filet minon was delicious! It came with a slice of bread and butter, a salad, and a baked potato all for 14.95. The meat was tender and worth far more than the price. It was a cute little bar with a very old, 70s steakhouse vibe. The service was great, and we would definitely go back if we are in Salida again.

Do yourself a favor, turn around and go next door. This restaurant is a 1 item restaurant and they cannot even do that right. We were there on their Filet Mignon night, it was scraps wrapped up in bacon to resemble a filet. Dirty tables, needed to get wiped off, twice. Very disappointed.

Only offer one item, prime rib on weekends, filet mignon on weekdays. Absolutely amazing. Might have a small wait because it’s a popular place! Will definitely come back when we’re in the area!

We have been here a few times before, and it has always been wonderful. We were thrilled to get the chance to go again. It is reasonably priced...in fact amazingly so...and the food is fantastic, as is the service. We got the 6 oz filets which come with a baked potato, a wedge salad, and a piece of bread. I wish we had one of these closer to us!!!

We were here in 2018, making a return trip. Great food and different style of menu. Salad was unique and delicious. Highly recommend this place

Discovered Quincy's last year and were excited to return. We went on Saturday night for prime rib and were not disappointed. We love the whole fixed menu concept - which some just cannot handle. We'll go back for filets this week.

There aren't too many places to eat at during the winter in Buena Vista. Therefore we are very grateful that Quincys provides a hot meal after a long snowy day. On the flip side since Quincy's is open, without any competition, it would be nice for them to try just a little when it comes to the quality of food and service. There typically isn't a wait and if you ever wait it's a very short wait before you're seated. Beware there's only one option on the menu for dinner; Meat, salad, potato, and a dinner roll. Don't even think of asking for anything else, or waiter will snap at you. The quality of meat is not the best. I wouldn't mind paying more and getting a better cut of meat.

We have been to this location previously and things have changed. The “prime rib” was so fatty that only about 4 ounces of my 12 ounce choice was edible and that portion was undercooked, medium doesn’t bleed. My husband had the same problem with his prime rib, his 16 ounce was fatty and he said it had no flavor. I actually enjoyed one change, instead of the wedge they usually have, the mixed green they served us on 11/26/22 was better.

We have enjoyed dinner at Quincy's in Leadville and Buena Vista, CO for years. Now we got to try the one in Salida, CO. If you've never been to a Quincy's, you better listen up. Only ONE thing is served on the menu. Steak! Prime rib is available Fris & Sats, while Filet mignon is served the other days of the week. Most Quincy's are only open for dinner, as far as I know. This Quincy's also offers lunch, but it's a totally different menu. You get a limited choice of what to put on your baked potato, but everything else is per the establishment's choice, i.e., house dressing with the salad, their choice of bread, one dessert choice... That's it, folks! We went on a Sunday evening for Filet Mignon. All Quincy's have very dark interiors. They must think it adds to the "date night" and Bar atmosphere. We ordered the smallest size of steak (3 choices), cooked medium. How I wish the cooks had a better sense of timing for steaks! Both of our medium steaks were cooked WAY too well-done. They were very tough, too. I was beyond disappointed, but did not want to send it back and risk getting the same thing again. I was also surprised that they charged for a measly tsp. of cheese on my baked potato, with no heads up that it was extra. The waiter seemed quite new, and was not very engaging in taking our orders. I just told him to tell the chef I saved his job, for I could have made a stink about it. We'll have to be starving to try this Quincy's again.

Food was good but the server, Cindy, was less than cordial with our party of 6. There was a 20% automatic gratuity to each bill, a charge for using a credit card, and a charge for our birthday girl's dessert. Now some of this might have been ok if we would have been told beforehand and when we questioned the server she was very off-putting with us. PLUS the tables are sticky!

We went on a filet mignon service night, sat at the bar. Got some drinks from the friendly bartender and ordered our meals. We were served as a starter, a Cobb salad with way too much salad dressing. Then our steaks came with a baked potato and a piece of crusty bread with butter. I had a a glass of their house cabernet. For the price, it's a really good value, its not the best filet mignon I ever had, but it was worth stopping by.
