Beverages are good, also have burritos and definitely snag a hand pie while there it’s the best maker and pie dough crust you’ll find in Chaffee county. Good seating options. Bonus for my child they carry the japanese famine soda pop :)

When they say unsweetened chai what they mean is unflavored chai. Warmed milk is all you get. We also waited 20 minutes with no line for the staff to call the owner as they had no idea how to make an espresso shot.

One of my fav places to hang out and work during the day. Plenty of tables and seating, outlets, a little outdoor patio, is quiet, and is laptop-friendly. Specializes in really good mochas - get the Aztec. Also good pastries, brekky burritos, and fun merch.

One of my favorite coffee shops in the state! Whenever I drive through Salida I make this my stop. I love the Mexican mocha with oatmilk and they have THE BEST chocolate chip cookies. Pictured is my husband’s chai latte

I have family friends in Salida, CO and was visiting in June. Mountain Phoenix coffee was recommended to me and I can honestly say I've never tasted anything like it! It is full-bodied and has layered notes that elevates it from the average one-note coffee. I'm back East now and have it shipped because I haven't found another coffee bean that tastes the same. Highly Recommend!
