I didn't eat here, it was a pickup/transfer place, but my mother and brother really liked the food.

So several years here in salida and still my favorite restaurant in town. I love their curries and naan and as the weather gets colder definitely get their chai which is by far the best in town (I've been known just to stop by and get a cup to go). Restaurant is always very clean and the staff is always very friendly, and helpful. I will always recommend this as a must try when visiting the area. Also, nothing beats coming here after a long day enjoying the slopes at Monarch. Best aprés skiing dinner stop in town.

Truly wanted to love this place. Living in Salida, you don’t get too many options especially for global cuisine. I hav now tried it three times, and each time it’s just plain. Flavorless. I want to support our local businesses but it’s a disservice to rank this business so high.

Lamb korma was one of the best i have had. Absolutely delicious! Fresh, hot Naan. Loved it. It would be worth the drive from Pueblo or Colorado Springs.

We ordered Curry, noodles, momos. Nothing had taste, we asked for medium spicy food, it didn’t even have salt, no spices at all.

We ordered 120 people worth of catering from Sherpa for our Sangeet the night before our wedding. They were easy to work with and let us change the order the day before when we realized we forgot to add chai (their chai was excellent). The food was great we especially loved the momos, samosas, and veggie curry. They were incredibly generous and even gave us a little extra just in case.

Server forgot our drinks and our samosas. Then forgot after samosas again, after being reminded. Then asked us if our samosas were on their way, when we asked for the bill. You tell us?? Food was also really bland. Wouldn't recommend.

Food was very bland and we were offered a jalapeñop sauce but that is not the same as being cooked in other Indian spices! - ‘curry’ turned out to be tomato based like a masala- unexpected. The lamb was tough, not freshly cooked. And the next morning after eating the lamb curry, I was not well.

I cant rave enough about the service and food Sherpa has to offer, we stopped in to order dinner to go, while we waited we were served water and an on the house cold beverage that was so needed and unexpected. The smiles and the welcoming hospitality is above and beyound. The food taste loved, we love Sherpa! Thank you!

Staff is fluent in vegan options. They made me vegan saag tofu off menu. For what it’s worth, kitchen spice levels are relatively mild.
