There was one other customer there. We still had a wait to order. The guy who took our order was rude and short. This was two hours before close. We had to pay when the server (who was courteous and the only saving grace) brought out our food, because of a technical issue with the stall.

Dinney started one order and we had 2 orders and she was told there were 2 for our car. She put my order on hold and never returned. I waited 5 mins at the speaker waiting for service. Then I approached the window. The boy taking the money took the order she took and I mentioned that she never took the second. He said she put it on hold. I said we'll I need to put in the second. The boy instructed me to drive around and come to the speaker again. My husband said he needs the manager. With a 3 second waiting he came over. We told him our issue and he took our order very rudely and instructed the boy to take my order. And told us to pull up forward. And dinny brought the orders and forgot my ice on a very hot wait. There were people sitting at the outside tables and Dinny was being very rude and arguing to the people about being rude, the customer replied I will quit being rude when you do. I will not eat here again and will tell everyone about the poor service sonic in salida Colorado has. Hopefully people will hesitate after our experience and head warning āš ļø.

Good food. Amazing service. Staff came out to give us our food and a (tiny) spider was hanging on the car window as he came out. Michael did not hesitate to help remove the spider from the car without even being asked and gave us our food. 10/10 amazing service.

Ridiculous. We stopped to get a blast and they literally put our toppings on it as if it were a hint of nothing. I walked them back up and the dude says…it’s in the ice cream. It’s the standard amount. No sir, it’s not. It’s vanilla ice cream with a hint of NOTHING. He turned and walked back in. No offer to remake or return money. Awful. Absolutely awful.

This is the worst sonic. Avoid this place unless you just like being frustrated and hungry. Took a very long time for someone to answer after pressing the button to order( over 10 minutes).
Our order was wrong- we were given the wrong food items and our sides were missing. Everything was crammed in one bag. Wrong drinks and sizes. No straws. No sauces or condiments. Attempted to push the button to explain our order was wrong. No one ever answered. My husband had to walk up to the drive tru window to get someone’s attention.
Very very poor service. Food was not very good and just thrown together very sloppy like.

We are from OK (home of Sonic HQs) where there is a Sonic on every corner. Ordered a chocolate shake here…it was total liquid completely melted on a 66 degree day. Took it back to try to get a shake not milk. Young lady working (multi colored makeup, about 5’2ā€, glasses, dark hair) told us ā€œthat’s the way they comeā€ with an attitude completely uninterested in customer service. Having grown up on Sonic in OK, that is a lie. Typically the shakes are so thick they provide you with a spoon (without asking) so you can consume it. Recommend manager contact HQs and request a shake machine that works. Can’t make recommendation on employees, cuz he was right there to be just as unhelpful…hires what he knows.

Employees here are the rudest I’ve ever encountered anywhere. We got the wrong order and they grabbed the drink out of my hand, did not say anything and then filled up the new drink 100% ice and 75% full of soda— snarled something and walked away. Bad service. Bad humans.

Avoid this place… waited for someone to answer the stall for several minutes. Didn’t appear busy. Person that took order very rude and we felt rushed on order to be done. Order didn’t come on screen to show us the total or pay. Tried to go ask. Door locked and couldn’t get in. Pushed the button and was told rudely ā€œ pay with your carhopā€ minutes later then someone came out with a receipt said they put in the wrong stall number. Asked if the order on the receipt was correct. They had us pay with a mobile paying machine. Kids meal cup lid wasn’t even close to fitting on cup.burger was thrown together and very messy. Food was just okay.. customer service was the rudest I’ve had at any Sonic..we were on vacation and just wanted something simple and spent almost $60. Won’t return next time we visit.
